YES! Dany Heatley! This tourney is such a joke for Canada and the U.S. Though, it's like we send our junior team and everyone else in the world gets all their good players. We only have 2 actual starters on the team, Scott Niedermayer and Heatley... I doubt I'd have anybody else from the champs team on team Canada (well, maybe Luongo, but he'd be backup or 3rd stringer). We just use the Champs to train young players for international play. Meanwhile, the Swedes are using the best 2 way defenseman in the world in Lidstrom and the best 2 way forward in Forsberg. Plus Alfy. This game shouldn't even be close... but it's tied, and we have the momentum.

I have never heard of ljarnqvist, the swedish goalie, but otherwise, they had the better team, if they had naslund, canada wouldnt have stood a chance.

Lundqvist... he's a backup (or has been), and a good young goalie. I'm not surprised he did well.

What do you mean, Kjfreerider? Explain...he's a member of the New York Rangers organization, and probably the best goalie Sweden has put out in years. Played in the world under 18s and posted a .939 save percentage, had a .928 %age at the world juniors in 2001, and played 3 games in last year's world championships. So, what's wrong about my information? Don't post shit if you don't know what you're talking about.
