Swapping skis between feet

I've always been told that you're supposed to always be swapping your skis between your feet to keeps the edges in good condition but I think most people don't. If you already detune your edges how much of a difference does it make? What side of the edge wears out, is it the inside edge of both skis or the left or right on both? I always switch them because my skis don't have a super obvious right and left graphic and I don't even notice when I put them down, but if you were riding something like Jets you would look stupid as hell having them on the wrong feet

tldr will park skis start to feel weird if you always ride them on the same feet

inside edge of your natty front foot on rails usually goes first. Doesn't really change how they ride but pretty soon you'll find the edge there becomes paper thin underfoot and starts breaking fast.

Yeah I switch them and watch the inside edges too. Front inside edge gets beat to hell. Best to switch up the damage to increase ski life

My superstitious brain tells me that i will instantly tear both ACL's if i ever swap my skis onto different feet, so i do not.

probably a good idea tho.

Yeah its mainly just for rail damage. That front foot inside edge gets destroyed if you don't switch em up

When ur skis have a Asymmetrical side cut ?‍?

I ski k2 marksman as my daily driver in the Alleghenys and Allegheny foot hills, their not super soft but I’d say its a medium/light soft flex, kinda playful and poppy but once broken in and are enough for me who likes to do the occasional butter, sometimes an Ollie over a snow fence. Plenty of float for east coast pow, heavy so they hold their own on harder snow. I like them all around only downside is k2 doesn’t make them anymore.

Lmao big horn meme replacement

Wait... other people dont get superstitious when you fall learning something and swap your skis to get rid of the bad vibes?

i tend to swap left to right a bunch, if i feel like my edges or top sheets are taking a lot of damage during the sesh sometimes i even flip em around back to front

I kind of like when they are on the other foot, had some 2016 bdogs that i changed foot on constantly. and for a rail rat I would recommend doing it. it's just skis. if the penis on your graphic isn't whole then what so?

also this. every time I catch an edge.
