Swapping bindings?

So I have some salomon s912 bindings on my volkl dogens that I want to take off and put on my new line prophet 100s, would that be a bad idea for any reason? Could I ever put the bindings back on the dogens?

OK awesome. Is taking them off something I could do on my own or should I have whoever mounts my prophets take them off the doegens?

Also, should I mount them right on the midsole if im using the prophets purely as a pow ski? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Get the shop to do it - you could damage the screw heads if you do it yourself, and the shop won't charge you extra if they have to take the bindings off themselves.

Mount the Prophets on the line.

One last question...would the salomon s912s be a good binding for the prophets or should I just buy some look px12s or 4front deadbolts?

I would just leave the salomons on the dogens, and get new bindings for the prophets. Unless you dont plan on skiing the dogens anymore...

take em off and mount them on the prophets, then just pick up a second pair of 912s down the line and just screw em in to the dogens and get em tested. then u dont really have to worry about remounting them
