I posted in the non-thread worthy thread and got nothing, so i bring the question to SG. Can anyone show me a video of a sw Ollie onto a rail? Im sure someone does them...

switch on toes over would pop like a fakie ollie, switch on tails over would have to be popped like a switch ollie.
 
just to be clear - when you say switch ollie, you're talking about popping off your tails while going switch, right?
 
i cant fucking comprehend a switch ollie on skis because it would be a fakie ollie. change up bindings... i dont fucking know move on before i freak
 
fakie is non existent in skiing. A switch ollie would be popping off your tails while skiing switch. Switch nollies are what everyone does when they pop switch. ollie = popping off tail, nollie = popping off nose no matter what direction you are going. Ignore what its called in skateboarding. They are mad fun while just cruising down the hill.
 
This guys got it. I imagine popping then going toes over the rail first would be easier than heal first. Does that make sense?

hahaha are you serious. first of all you came off bascially yore whole ski at the same time mostly at the tips, not your tails.

and first you called it a switch 50-50. now its a switch five-0? those can't possibly be the same thing. either way it clearly does not involve a switch ollie. your ignorance astounds me.
 
and not all hate, because even though it's not the switch ollie, the switch nugget/ski slide/5050/whatever is still pretty impressive
 
no you're a fucking idiot. sw 50 is short for sw 5050 and 5-0 is completely different. maybe it was off my tips making it a sw nollie in your terminology but arguing over names of ski tricks is fucking stupid. just like you.

A: There's a reason I didn't ask you, B: How the fuck is that common sense? The way I see it, switch nollie wouldn't even exist, because it's only a nollie if you're riding forward.
 
Well your common sense is retarded... WE ARE NOT TALKING ABOUT SKATEBOARDING in skiing going backwards is switch. That it no dispute over it, it's called switch. Nollie's are off the nose of the ski while ollie's are off the tail. So if you combine those 3, very simple, ideas and you get switch ollies to be some skiing backwards popping off the tail. Thats it.
 
I would've just assumed that riding backwards is switch. But if you're doing a trick on a quarterpipe and don't spin, would that not be an air to fakie? Cause air to switch sounds dumb, unless there's another name. Straight air? Lip to switch?

no, it's ridiculous/just plain sad how you couldn't work all that out for yourself. back to what i said, common sense, something that is obviously eluding you. need another tip? common sense would say right now that you should stop posting, you've made enough of a fool out of yourself already
