Are fucking gay. Not so much the trick but the fact that its the only trick thron in the us open big air... I was reading another thread and the person who wrote it compared a few young skiers by if they could sw 10 or not... I dont see what the big deal is, slow and smooth i thought...my opinion but what do u guys think?
 
I think it's a pretty cool trick myself, but maybe it's just personal preference? Personally, I'd rather see people throwing huge switch 1080's than everyone just doing gorilla style cork 5's. To really progress the sport you have to do newer and bigger tricks, not just do the same ones and try to make them look slightly different. Just my opinion.
 
i think the switch 10 is an important competetion trick. if you want to win one of the bigger comps, you need it. so to be a professional athlete, or budding pro, you need the cab 10. i think its a progressive trick, but deff not my fave.
 
I was loving laurent favre at the US open big air with his huuuuugge zero spin and cork fizzle.. I think Tj was doin some intense cork 5s nose/crit as well...
 
laurent favre is THE steeziest switch carver ever, check the bonus stuff in TBC for an example. my god the switch 5 was sick, but the carving up to it was soooooooo steezy
 
its not progressive if every other kid is doing it..it was progressive like 2years ago but not now.. you dont need to do a switch10 and you shouldnt have to.. if you want to be just like everyone else do a switch10 other wise try to develop your own style or tricks
 
no dude, this year the cab 10 will be kinda like a stock trick, everyone will have them and they wont win you shit anymore... but linking a cab 10 with... lets say a right side cab 10... thats another story, this is the spin right year fools... but a cab 10 with like a cruton or some new variation might be good... but i see this year seeing about the smooth cab 7 with ridiculous grabs...
 
oh . but what is sick was sammys 180 to cab 10 in the gravity games, i think thats a sick way to mix it up.
 
I'll agree with you guys that completely hucking off a jump is a little boring to watch after a while, but I would like to see something ridiculous like a switch 1440 or something done. Just once to see that it's possible, then we can buy the skier a little crown and give him a pat on the back and say "never again."
