What is the best way to make some homemade suspenders that work well? Or should i just suck it up and buy some??

and just tie from the front 2 belt loops to the back 2?? cross in the back or anything??

Exactly, cross them in the back and through the belt loops

for the length you need i would say you need hockey boot laces.

The best idea i have found is to use ribbon from presents etc. its really strong and won't slip off like a shoelace might!

i made some with duct tape, They work awesome if you don't mind them not coming off unless your ready to make new ones. I'm pretty sure there's some tutorials on Youtube and you can just change it to your needs
