Suspended and i am pissed!

Today there was some field trip thing in school and one of my teachers who i asked for the forms gave it to me the day before so i can't go right. I am pissed. So i show up to school 3rd period (Out of 9).

Then i go to art and all then when it comes time for lunch me and my friend say hey lets go into town. We aren't allowed out of school until 10th grade and is being changed to 11th grade So we are like what ever there are like 4 people in my grade today, lunch in the lunch room will be so boring. We go get pizza where there is like 20 people which is a lot for a school with 60 in graduating class.

but as we walked down there we saw someone in a white honda pilot wave to us. It kinda looked like a lunch monitor. I said $&!% and we were crossing from too side roads were you cant be seen. I am like what ever she won't care.

As a matter of fact she had someone write us up and she saw me and asked me where were you at lunch today? And i said i was in the high school. And she said The high school sounds a lot like main street to me. And she said to me. Well that will get you a SUSPENDED and a call to your parents. That got me so pissed. I said what are you serious and she says well what if someone jumped a curb and ran you over.

Now some of you will say what ever i have had worse and act not like your self and hate and put down. But this means i am cut from the ski trip and i can't ski in vermont. Like NO STOWE!!!!! that got me so pissed. What did i do wrong really. It would have been so boring doing nothing all at lunch
 
when i was in high school, we weren't allowed to leave, period.

partly based on the fact that there was no where else to get something to eat, but still
 
we have like 3 delis 2 pizza places and food town right in our small town. But i know i lied because i couldn't get in trouble and i didn't know if it really it was her
 
Have your parents call the Principal and have them tell him/her how much the ski trip means to you.
 
^i would but my parents are going to be pissed too. I am just gonna tell them how much i am pissed and how i should pay the school in money how much damage i did. That would be $-10 because thats what the 4 pizzas and 2 sodas cost (Between two people)
 
Thats weird, just write a letter yourself to the Principal then. Looks mature and actually shows your sorry for what you did. Tell him you understand now why it was foolish for you to leave and bla bla bla, and your really sorry and if he could keep you on the school ski trip.
 
wtf? you can go outside of school during lunch? why dont your parents call and just cuss them out? you're in highschool you can take care of yourself
 
tell the bitch she cant prove that you left. and tell your rents the same. just say you never left. what did she take a pic of you when she saw you or sumthin?

that sucks harsh man, where do u live? that rule stopped applying in grade 7 for me, as soon as you are in high school there are no boundaries, you just have to make it to your classes on time. you can go anywhere during study block too.
 
that kinda happens at my school. im in 10th grade but 11th and 12th can go into town. so i just go with my sister and get taco bell. I haven't been at school for lunch in 2 weeks =)
 
it was the lying. you shouldn't have left in the first place if you really cared about the trip but when you lie you get in trouble. at my school you get ap's for skipping something or doing something you're not supposed to but suspended for lying about it even if it's a tiny thing, schools take honesty really seriously, it's always better to tell the truth in a situation like that
 
we arent allowed to leave in a car to go to lunch and come back to school (grade 9-12)

but people still do

and yes, if they catch you, you get suspended
 
if its just a day trip to stowe skip school that day and ski with your friends. if not, well, its gay she wrote you up but thats how it goes.
 
does your school have cameras? if not then just tell the principal you never left. she cant prove you were there.

but you shouldnt have lied. dumb that you got suspended for it tho
 
But... what if some kid tried to hold the school hostage with pipe bombs and shit. You could have been safer having left the school!

Anyways just beg for permission to go on the trip to the appopriate authority figure~
 
Woah Woah wait a second! Why was the lunch monitor out of school at lunch? Isnt her job to monitor lunch? Report her to the head for not doing her job!
 
i think that the monitors job is to keep an eye out for kids like him.

ya at my school any grade can go out, we have some really kick-ass places to eat around our school too, pita pit, quiznos, tim hortons, pizza pizza. chyeaa
 
highschool actually, im a junior. its the new president of the school, he's gonna get kicked out cause hes making all these bullshit rules that even making the administration go what the fuck
 
Your lucky you can leave in 10th/11th grade man...we can't leave until senior year when we get "senior privileges" and that is only if we have above a 2.0 GPA and have no suspensions/saturday schools and if we take anyone without privileges out of school we get ours taken away...
 
you guys have crazy schools. I'm pretty sure every school in my region has been letting people go wherever they want for lunch since at least grade 7.
 
thanks for all the posts and mostly no haters and all thats a breakthrough. But the school hasn't called yet so i think i will get a call monday and a detention. I called one of my teachers to day on his cell (I know that weird and cool) and he said just tell your parents to calm down when they find out if they do and tell them that you didn't no better, he knows that the school isn't allowed to punish within the first two weeks of school if you say you don't know.

To answer some questions, the day i left they started a thing to send out a lunch monitor to find kids like me. The likely hood of being killed by a grenade is like 1 in 6billion because our town is so small and the worst that has happened was a fist point robbery. No it is a 3 day trip to vermont not a day trip. That would take a day driving to stowe and back from where i live. I in the lower hudson valley new york. An hour train ride (Exspress) from New york city. And our school is based on trust so i can't just say that i wasn't there because who would a super intendant trust a loyal lunch aid or a kid that lied than confessed to that lunch aid with 30 kids right around her.
 
for real? wtf at my school anyone can go anywher as long as u get to class, even if ur like an hour late u only get lunch detention and theres no PDA rules that i know of i mean if someone was gettign blown in the halls they would say something but u kno...
 
My school is a bitch.

Not a sinlgle person can leave campus. Students are not even allowed to go into the parking lot if they have to get something from their car. We have over 150 camears and about 800 students. There is a chinese restaurant, and two pizza places in town too. You leave, you get suspended. There is a guard at the front door, and all the doors are locked during the day.
