Ok the short of it is... Im 6'3'' 180lb and I need a ski entirely for kickers and pipe. Dont really care about rails all that much so I need the ski to be nice and stiff. Im pretty sure im gonna choose between the suspects and the punx but if youve got any other suggestions then shout them out.

(I realise these skis only come around 181-182 and thats pretty small for me but thats just the hand ive been dealt and i gotta get on with it)

bolth are really soft skis, so it sounds like neither of those are what your lookin for. if you like the suspects maybee go for the dumonts may be a little more money. but there at tad stiffer

I was thinking the exact same thing as I was reading the original post. With your size and not necessarily your weight, you're interest in the Suspects should steer you towards the Dumonts. Same side wall construction but woodcore and double edge armor, not single like the Suspects (in case you think about rails)

nah the suspects are pretty stiff from what i've heard. the punx aren't though.

if you not doing any rails, i'd go with pipe cleaners and get some of that race base action. volkl walls are a good pipe/kicker ski, and you won't have to worry about them falling apart cause your not hitting rails.

but if you have to choose between the suspects and punx, i'd say suspects

from what ive heard the punx or not very soft. the urbans are, but the punx are very jump and pipe specific, which is why i am NOT geting them. im looking for a soft ski for rails so im getting urban punx

Hmmm this aint going anywhere fast is it?? Haha! Cheers guys but does anybody actually know how stiff the Punx are?? I assumed they were cause jossi rides them for park and pipe. Anyone got them yet?

my friend has punx and they are really nice. they have a medium flex, a little softer than chronics but not too much softer. they have really good pop
