Not saying the AR7 is a bad ski, you should go with them if that's what you want, I'm sure you will enjoy them.
However, I think most of the bad vibes about the suspects come from people who haven't actually skied them, just hear bad things from a couple people, and take that as an opportunity to trash on the big corporation (salomon). I think that Salomon makes high quality fun skis, and that the suspects, like all park skis, take a beating. They've been around for a while, so people are less likely to give them a chance then they will a brand new model from a company starting up.
I know many people will disagree with me on this, and that is fine, they are entitled to their own opinions and can ride on whatever it is that they want. But the fact of the matter is, a ski is a ski, and what you are looking at here is two high quality sticks, and unless you personally know someone who shows you physical proof that their suspects have not treated them well, I'd give em' a shot. All you will find on the internet is, "I heard they break easily". If people spent less time formulating opinions based on what they have been told from strangers on the internet, and more time actually trying products for themselves, I think they would enjoy many things they once thought they would hate.
