Is he just starting out in the states? Survivor Man has been on in canada for a few years now. The one where is his in the canadian north ( northern ontario) is right by where i live.

He has another show called "Off the Grid" where his trys to move his family from the city south, so a self contained house in North Bay ontario. The house will have wind power generators, compost toilets, water recycling, and solar pannels.
 
its fine. but yes, bear is fairly new to us. i believe he's only been on for about a year or so. discovery channel doesn't have the off the grid show you mentioned either

bear is like a pop culture icon now these days though
 
man vs wild is more informative, bear peaked mt.everest and a bunch other expeditions which is ill, but his show isnt as hardcore as survivor mans. this stuff is so interesting and intense its redic. i love, the discovery channel.
 
if they went head to head it would be no contest les would kick bears ass all over the floor bear just does thing for good t.v. if they did a show to see who could survive longer without a camera crew bear would die in the first weak or so les would have a consate food source a fire going all the time and a good shelter and he would be diging bears grave. were as bear would have no food and be getting more deyhidrated from drinking his own urine
 
yeah bear totally was never british special forces who went through hundreds of hours of training and TOTALLY didn't climb mt. everest.

yea it would, cats are so powerful. survivor man will get seriously injured one of these times, or die. in my opinion this shit is crazier then steve irwin, but hes still the man of course.
 
he washed up on a tropical beach near the equator, and he was lef twith 3 pens, a pair of pants, swimming goggles and the clothes he had on him, along with his multi-tool. sweet, those 3 pens will save him

I am sure the guy is a pretty hardcore dude because he was in the special forces and climbed mt. everest and blah blah blah, but that doesn't excuse him from the fact that he makes a shitty show designed to deceive people.

Survivorman is a fucking legit show... he actually is out there alone (at least I haven't seen any evidence to the contrary) and he actually has to find food and shelter and water. The reason he doesn't do flashy shit like the other guy is because if you were actually trying to survive and didn't have medics around in case you fuck up, it's a bad idea to act like a fucking clown and jump off cliffs and just generally do stupid shit.
 
no, i am not "dumb as dirt". i know about the allegations and stuff, and that he did stay in a hotel, the horses werent wild etc. he is still much more entertaining to watch then some guy he complains all the time. plus bear would beat les stroud's ass in real life. so fuck you.
 
dude you are fucking retarded. bear was in the fucking british special forces and climbed mount everest. he didnt learn anything from the special forces about survival or anything though right? fucking idiot.
 
that's interesting, but most likely bear wouldn't do that bad. who knows what would really happen. there is a marathon of survivorman going on now though, been 3 or 4 episodes on already.
 
Wow, that is awesome that the guy went out to the same place. It just shows how Bear is a huge fake.

Les is amaising on how much work he puts into his shots, because he wals so far away to get good shots, and they are only a few seonds long. I wouldn't follow a lot og Bear's advice, because a lot of it would get you killed easily. He also makes crappy shelters, and Les makes great ones, in the same amount of time.
 
Bear is stupid he does everything that you wouldn't do if you were a good survival expert like eat a raw fish without killing it and drink his own piss.
 
How about this....when Les goes out he is in the " REAL LIFE." Bear has support crews and helicopters to make sure he is ok at all times.....thus your statement is inncorrect. Out of these two men, Les is the only man who can REALLY survive in the wild.

Ohh and for the people who talk about him on Everest....now people who are blind can climb the mountain, untrained millionares climb it, soo sorry if im not impressed by that statement. Les is a REAL survival expert, not some spoilt brit who went through some training, and thinks he is king shit.
 
the marathon is still going on...i wondewr if discovery is catching on with people finding out bear is fake and are doing all of survivorman to cover or make up for it or who knows. i wonder if man vs wild will be on more.
 
just because a blind person can climb mt.everest doesnt mean its easy. to me, climbing mt.everest is the biggest achievement a human can have. and the people that climb the mountain train months upon years for the month trip. almost 15 people die a year on it.
 
compaire that to K2, or look at the amount of people that climb it yearly, now look at how many of those people are expearenced mountaineers. Im telling you, its not as huge as it was.
 
obviously it isnt as big as it was years ago without the iphone. and its not like everyone reaches the peak, once most of them reach the death zone they have to turn back. its still physical demanding.
 
Survivor mans kid goes to school in Ajax with a girl I know. She said they went on a class camping trip or something and he built a lean to shelter and a hatchet to kill shit with while they were setting up camp.
