Just somethign I would like to add.....I used to say I would never ever do it. I like to be healthy so I jsut wasn't into that. Then this past summer I tried it a big party at the end of the school year. So you never know. And also yah it really doesn't do anything the first time, but I think before you make any judgements you should at least try it 3 times. I only do it occasionally, and I am not really interested in doing it any more then that. Just make decisions for yourself....

Weed, lol. How can I describe it, a getaway, fun as hell, scary as hell, bliss, horrible. Man it sucks when ppl fuck with you. That shit is sweet tho if you smoke with cool ppl. In whistler it was the shit, nothing to worry about. At home I just try to chill and escape my probs. I wouldnt recommend it when you're vulnerable, not a good idea. Its cool tho it just takes you down and makes you chill, think, have fun. Sucks when you really like it and your freinds try to get into trouble by yelling at 2am and trying to get cops attention and generally fucking with you. I would love to do it with cooler ppl and just enjoy it. Buds fun, puts you in a real cool chill state.

 
You should only smoke when everything is ok, not when you are sad cause you'll feel hapier for a while, then you'll feel depressed again....

Alcol is not better then weed, they have the same fucking acditive effects but alcool is easier to find, so it is more dangerous...

oh man... weed is so weak. Crack is definitly he way to go if you wanna smoke something. Crack is the only reason I am here anymore. I love crack. Crack loves me. Once in awhile I'll go for some heroine while I'm whooped out on crack, but usually I stick to my small white friend. Mabye that's why I like snow, it reminds me of crack. White and fun as hell.

Weed is definitly an escape. I get stressed out so bad by everything...i need something to calm me down. Honestly...after breaking up with my girlfriend...weed was the only thing that could keep me from hating myself for screwing it up. That's not why i do it...but it helps. Weed has way fewer and less harsh side effects as any perscription anti-depressant that i've ever looked into. Stick to the natural remedies is what i say.

 
someone said that alcohol is easier to find then weed is, thats soo untrue. u can smoke and find weed any given second u want to, but achi u gatta hunt someone down that has a fake id, or wait to get some dude to buy it for u, or get it at a party, or various other ways u can find it..weed is alot more availible.

i can see an obvious difference in the east coasters and the midwest/west coasters. NO WEED SMOKERS (or very few) in the east. that just goes to show how layed back the people in the west are. sorry, the east coast can be layed back, but the majority of people (uncluding non skiers) are high strung and busy. sometimes you just have to sit back and smoke a little weed in order to get a different perspective. its not a matter of escaping reality and enhancing your self image.

just to leave a little disclaimer...i hope i didnt offend anyone in the east coast. it wasnt meant to be derogatory in any way.

 
that may be true, I worked at Jay Peak in Vermont and EVERYBODY smoked. I'm talking 50 year olds with kids. Just depends on where you are. But I think you're right peeps are pretty high strung in the east.

 
i personally love weed, but its not for everyone. its just strange to me how EVERYONE in CO (including ev-er-y-one of my friends), CA, WI, ect ect smoke weed and in mass...NO ONE SMOKES! my god. people are too health conscious. i guess i just like to be dirty. theres my pathetic attempt and throwing out my 2 cents. no more.

ummm... every skier that I know in the east smokes. that is not an exageration at all. EVErY ONE in the east smokes. except me of course.
