Surfy playful pow skis??

looking for a ski for the deeper days that is super surfy and playful, something with lots of rocker and a soft flex. dont want anything over 120 waist though. any recommendations?

swallow tail would be a plus

both skis are dope, but pocket the 250 difference and cop the prospect

true, but i live in canada so the prospects would be prob be even more then the pescados, plus i can get the pescados locally and the prospects take 6 weeks to ship apparently

do what suits you, but I'd wait a while for something that you can be the happiest with

KITTEN FACTORY COME BACK!!!

OP see if you can find an older 4FRNT CRJ too. Bentchetlers, Catamaran, ARV 116 JJ, BillyGoat, & Kartel 116 are good options as well.

All great options above, might suggest the Nomad 125 from Icelantic as well. They used to be called the Gypsy and can be found pretty cheap if you look around a bit.

RIP

or convince scott to give me a pair of cease and desists with the skellys

k2 Catamaran. I've tried quite a few of the playful/surfy skis around that waist width and for me it was the most fun by a long way

yes, but if i cant have KF's I'd take cease and desists

Yeah I totally read that wrong. But true, hopin KF sees this though.

From what I’ve heard they’re still making skis, but not full production.

Hopefully soon! Snow came a bit late, just picked them up from the shop yesterday. Was hoping to get on them today, but my home hill isn’t open and the nearest one raises ticked prices. Itching to get on snow without breaking the bank.

honestly not sure how good my review is gonna be though, because they’re making some pretty big changes to the inthayne next year.

this years inthayne: 122 underfoot, 35m radius

next Years: 117ish underfoot, 30m radius, completely new tip/tail, etc.

ill still put out a review though

I own and ski the pescados everyday at Alta (partly because I sold my other skis but mostly because they are such a fun ski). I can not recommend them more. Pony up - you will not be disappointed.

I thought you didn’t wanna go over 120? Pescados are 125.

theres a brand called smart skis that makes handmade skis and i emailed them about wanting a surfy pow ski and they designed me one in a couple days. im gonna go with that route considering they are half the price of the pescados.
