Surfy and carvy 90 ish twintip/semi twintip

I have many skis already, but the narrowest is 104.

Im starting to realise I needs something that is 90 ish mm, that is a decent carver on firm stuff,

but also fun for sidehits and trees. Mirus cor is way too expensive. Want something decently cheap and light.

Anyone got any recommendations? Im looking at the blade optic 92, its really cheap as well.

Also thinking of waiting for the nightstick 90? Though that seems more like a park ski. Playmaker doesnt seem to

be very good at carving when it firm.

If you can find a Nordica Soulrider 97 you won't be disappointed. I was able to pick up a pair that was new, but mis-mounted for cheap. Loved em for a few years until I gifted them to a buddy in need. He loved 'em too.

Very underrated ski that checks all your boxes.

Personally, I would go Optic 96 over the 92 from Line. The 92 doesn't have the metal laminate... I've only skied it at a test but it didn't have the impressive dampness/stability of the other Optics or Blade. The Blade is great but has that super fat tip which is occasionally not ideal in tight spaces, but the Optic 96 cranks pretty hard. The K2 Poacher is always a safe choice for 'fun but turns well' too and the Chronics are surprisingly solid carvers too, if you can keep a centered stance. All of the Season Eqpt skis rail, even the Kin, which is kinda of a noodle, is good skied centered. And, as you said, Mirus Cor, but it costs a bomb.

I was lucky to get about 10ish run on a mirus cor too - I know ya said it’s not in your budget but I know ya won’t regret it. Very fun.

oblivion 94 is softer and more surfy than the narrower options. i just got some prodigy 1s and am pretty happy with how much I can carve whilst still being fun park ski.

Gotta second the K2 poacher, I have a friend who rides exclusively the poacher at Snowbird and he skis everything from hardpack to the deepest utah pow on it.

thnx for the answers :)

Ive also looked at the Season Kin which is supposed to be really good.

What would be perfect is a enforcer 104 free/unlimited with 90 ish underfood. Same rocker profile.

Nordica should make that.

I would say bent 90 but I would demo it first imo it has a great shape/sidecut that makes it ski different than any other ski I’ve skied before it’s also super poppy and perfect for what your saying but some ppl don’t like it so

unleashed 98 would be the nearest thing I guess. They carve really well

Hey.

Yes I think im going for that one. Cant find any negative comments about it.

Guess its a reason why both Jeff and Bob of skiessentials bought one.
