he had a good reason, now somebody just tell him waht kind of board he needs.
Im no surfer man but i think the short boards are sick.

skateboarding helps, but don't buy a board straight out because you will quickly grow out of a long board. Borrow one from someone and once you get good you can spend your $500 on a nice short board.

get yourself a 8'6' egg shape to start out with. Surfboards are one of the Few things that are affordable over there. Don't bother paying to fly one over.

Its pretty hard to explain why i dropped out unless you know me but basically I'm incredibly bored with school and I only got one life to live so whats the point? I'm living on an organic farm where i have to work like 20 hours a week and get free room and board. Thanks for the board advice. How long will I have to spend on a long board before I can skitch to short?
