why the hell does surfing have to be so hard! I tried it over christmas and it was impossible and I wanna try it again sooo bad but since I live in WI its kinda hard to get a chance. Anyone here surf?

Surfing looks fun but I dont live near an ocean and I would probably drown if i tried to surf.

Alright another Wisconsin surfer... Actually i'm not really from WIsconsin but whatever.. Surfing is the best sport besides skiing... How tall are u and how old r u? that can have a lot to do with how hard it is to learn... I been surfing for a while... I still suck tho but im starting to figure out how to do cutbacks

Dan what were u surfing a like 2 foot break???? There is no way u couldve done anyhing that was like waist high or above and getting up does not mean ur surfing really. But whatever thats cool that u have the balls to try it with abusted leg. Its fun as hell. Like I said im learning cutbacks and they r the most fun thing in teh world.

Im 14 and 5'11 I only tried a couple times but once I would stand I would like fall off backwards or lose balance.

Do u know what length board u were using? It's a lot easier to surf if ur short

White water kayak is cool but white water open boating is really too sick...
