wow if you're gonna hang with surfers you're gonna have to chill out on the hate

Abba Zabba, you my only friend

surfing is better like I love skiing and pow, but getting a massive barrel and pulling out aFTER being in this massive vortex of water is an undescribeable felling + the chicks in surfing are way hotter,

Hey, I lived in Manly, NSW last winter (Feb - June) I taught myself how to surf, it was freakin' amazing over there. Try to hit the northern beaches like Dee Why, North Styne, Curl Curl, and Palm Beach if you can. And DEFINATELY goto Byron Bay area...some of the best breaks in the world. Yea watch out for the blue bottles, they float on the water and will sting you. Also, sea lice are a bitch, so get a wettie that covers your whole body. I'm super jealous of you man, it's amazing over there, enjoy.

Last March, I was surfing at north shore in Hawaii. It was sick. I guess it depends on where you are. Surfing somewhere good is better than skiing somewhere shitty and vice-versa.

so much for surfing skiing or anything by the slimmest of margins that there are i was bite by a fucking shark and it fucking ruined my right knee so i can barely walk and not do anythjing for at least a year

AMA-RIP

wow. you are the first person i 'know' to have been bit by a shark. how did it happen?

I ride jersey shore with adam lynam, its really sick sometimes, double overhead at trestles during the hurricane, id rather ski, but theres a feeling you get from surfing that is unmatched

I surf in the summer and i love it, its very cost efficient sport compared to skiing, but my first love was skiing and il stick to it. Althought the feeling you get when you have a sick ride in surfing is tough to match with skiing..And location really doesnt matter to me, i surf in Jersey so enough said.

Surfing gives me the same vibes as skiing in pow. I do both; ski in winter, surf in summer.

Ski, play bass, ski, play guitar, ski, play bass, ski, play guiter, ski, play bass...

i slightly take back what i said, a good wave is pretty much as good as carvin turns through powder, just havin my stomach and back ripped open on some jagged rocks has made me like surfin a little bit less

surfing's super rad but it sucks cuz all the besy swells are in the winter when skiing is king

I am a skier because skiing needs a future

I fuckin love surfing as much as a colorado kid can, ive only been on about three trips in my life so I'm really fuckin rookie but its soooo cool. skiing and surfing really have a lot of similarities. just think about somebody like rob machado ripping through a tube and pulling out at the last minute as compared to seth straigtlining some big ass face trying to beat his slough. the same thing with monster waves too, both just this intense charge down a huge face that nature's created that has the capability to fuckin crush you if you dont know what you're doing.

To me surfing is like wakeboardings, wake after wake, wave after wave, same again and again. But with skiing you have varied terrain that can challenge you differently everyday.

^^no surfing is not like wakeboarding, and every single wave is different

Yea i know its different, but you dont have the variation like you have in skiing. If I want to ride mellow powder i'll go hit that. If i want to hit the park than you can do that too.

YA I just started living in OZ full time and surfing is the hardest sport ever to learn, but its sweet, where did you move to i am now in Newport on the northern beaches

there are some really good breaks, in southern oz. wilsons promitory. Its a sick national park with some really cool waves and sanddunes that are fun to drop off of. Also on the west coast there is some kick ass waves. I was there last year. Oz is dope if you go the money. get up to darwin and fly over to bali, and just chill at kota. A shit ass beach break thats probably the most enjoyable little way in the world. and you can hire a boat to take you to some islands and off shore breaks that are great. cheers

WHERE ARE YOU HOIET
