Oi.

I just moved down to melbourne from the states to goto grad school, and I'm looking for some people to mob out to the coast with and shred some tastey waves. Let me know if you're down, I've got a board and suit ready to go and I'm not a kook. Cheers,

Lived there for 3 years, Piont leo and portsea have the only decent swells. Much better on the other side of the bay, you have 13th beach, torquay, bells, grove and many more over there.

I agree it's better down the surf coast, but there is still good surf on the Peninsula. If he can go to the peninsula but not the surf coast then it's still a viable option.

They are both about eqaul distance from the melbourne CBD so i can't see why he couldn't go to both.

I assume he doesn't have a car, so it's up to where his friends go. And I have friends that go from CBD to Morn pen all the time I could have hooked him up with if that's where he was looking to go.

And by public transport it's $10 cheaper to get to morn pen than surf coast, myki vs v-line.

All in all was just giving him another option.
