Put it this way, I went for a job with two seasons and they said that they try to sell this as much as possible as its got there biggest mark up and dusnt last as longer so customers come back and buy it again. (Its their own brand btw)
If your a going on a weeks ski holiday then yeah should be fine but if you shop around you can probably find way higher quality, better waterproofing and a nicer/fit style from some other brands from last year.
