Im not necessarily park oriented but im looking for a pretty wide ski that will let me ski pow and trees but is also good in the park. I can get the watchlifes for $50 cheaper. Which is a better investment?

blends for sure. better quality.

but also keep in mind the watch lifes are stiffer than the blends, not sure your needs so cant say exactly

i love my watchlifes, nice and stiff. lots of camber. all around a pretty fun ski.

never ridden the blends.

only durability issues with Surface that i know of are the time series. life series is pretty bomber

blends for sure! really great all around ski. stupid durable. early rise but still lots of camber for park and groomers making it super playful and fun.

my watch lifes broke in 10 days(just my personal experience dont hate me for it). Go with blends

Ive got two pairs of surfaces, LL2s and watchlifes. Both are as solid of skis as anyone could want. And cmon Line, thats all you say to get someone to buy your product? Dont buy either, get some icelantics or ON3P that arent made in china

After having ridden the 2012/2013 BLEND for a few days now, I must say, it is a really, really solid choice. I have rid the Watch Life's too, and they are a good ski, but the BLEND is definitely oriented to handle more of everything. 100mm at the waist, symmetrical early rise, and early taper in the tail... it really rips.
