im thinkin bout gettin next year a pair of these...

which brand do u think is better quality and better all mtn skis

I've never ridden surface skis but i can vouch for High Society. They're a kickass all mountain ski for sure, waaaaaay better than fugitives, scratches, or troublemakers, etc.

sry marty, but i gotta say ive been really dissapointed with my highsocietys. and there "1 year warrenty" is totall bullshit. i know im not gettin another ski from them

i have seen many pairs of both in the last year.  50 percent of the high societies have be MAJOR delam cases, where I have never seen a surface ski with any problems. Holding them, the surfaces seeem much more legit construction wise. I would go with the surfaces way before high society.

i have over 100 days on my watch lifes and over 50 on my live lifes and not a single problem.........

High Society is really pushing their ski designs, talking with all of their riders and catering to their needs, reggie is also one of the coolest guys out there, nate berkel has been skiing on high societys all year and has been killing it, HIGH SOCIETY!

High Society, their skis are gonna be really good for the upcoming seasons. a lot of huge improvements

I'd have to say go with surface. All I hear is how dope the skis are, never heard any complaints whereas it normally the opposite with high society

My Surface Watch Lifes gave out on me after 60 days of heavy park abuse, but those were the best 60 days of my life. Can't wait to get next season's.

go with high society. reggie is the man and the skis are killer i've been riding them all season and love um, kickass park and all mountain ski.

i think this kid actually wants skis. you know the kind im talking about? the kind you can purchase, receive at your home, and then ski on? no...i didnt think so.

oh and my surfaces are so awesome that when i go off jumps lightning comes out of the tips and purple and pink unicorns carry me on their backs all the way to the landning.

SORRY IM RETODDED

whoa the picture of the new watchlifes on fire feliz says the dimensions are 145/112/135. but that sounds more like the live life

I don't think those are the 08/09 That seems kind too much. I know that there's goign to be a second graphic for the Watch Life, maybe thats it? Or I heard poeple throwing the name "Love Life" around, as well as " 99 waist." So we'll see.

the more people that buy surface the sooner we will see the really good stuff from them become available

I have had a pair of High Society's every season for the last 3 years. They hold up well and are really fun all over the mountain. I had to warranty one pair and had them replaced within 2 weeks with no problems...and got next years model which are the best twin tip Ive skied yet. I also have some Pistols and the 187s are as fun if not better than the K2's. A few of my boys who snowboard ride HS boards and love them.

Haven't skied surfaces, but my High Society FRs are legit as hell. Two 60-day season's and still just as solid as day one.

I've ridden with some of the riders on the team, and I know that they are serious about developing their skis. The riders are often out riding prototypes, testing every part, trying to break em, etc and going home to report back.

Not to mention, all the guys I know from HS are cool. Thats all I've got.

can u get these online at any other places besides the surface store or does any stores carry them on teh east coast

those are for sure next year. designed by tj schneider from capita. one of two design choices for the live life.

I think it seems like the High Society have way too much carve. I would go for Surface if I should buy one of them. But don't listen to me. Haven't tried them. I just don't like too much carve.

how does the high society fr's carve and ride compared to the watch lifes

is the turn radius good and do they hold an edge good at watnot?

I have not ridden Surface so Im not sure how they carve. The FR's I own have a good sidecut for pretty much anything. I dont ride that much park anymore but they track good into jumps and are really good switch. They like to turn but I wouldnt say they are "too carvy". I havent tried the other High Society model so couldnt tell ya anything there.
