Surface, Surface, Surface!!!

honestly who are you....i take care of my skis and all my equipment that has nothing to do with why the topsheets on my watchlifes are not durable at all...never had skis with topsheets that chipped and peeled like these

that's crazy they're chipping and peeling that bad... i have 35 days on mine and have nothing more than the usual nicks and chips.

MIne are bomber still...I have had maybe 25-30 days on them. Everyone skis differently, maybe your skis hit together more than most or something.

the only problem with my skis is everybody thinks i am a lot cooler than i really am i hate having to disapoint people all the time

ya me to. i usually just spend lots of money on really nice looking equipment, and then hang out in the lodge telling people i'm really good.

its a little embarrassing when they see me actually try to turn.

They are actually pretty stiff but somehow they flex a lot and pop like mad. This is actually what I like most about them. Like, they are stiff, but once you start bending them they keep bending.

Its funny this guy saying you have to take care of your skis. This is like the Armada distributor

in Zurich who was telling me not to do rails on AR5s. It's a park ski, you hit rails, and if you bail the top sheet chips. On any ski. But on the Surfaces a lot seems to come off at once.

But as long as it's cosmetic damage, seriously, who cares.

Good advice to sand the sides tho... I'll do that. But fuck I love this ski.

I'm soo stoked. I ordered mine today. you said the best way to prevent to topsheet chipping is to round off the corners of it? also is it all purely cosmetic?

no. the best way to prevent topsheet chipping is to not hit your edges on your topsheets. yes, it is purely cosmetic.

and the other guy's question...next years will no longer have this problem. los developements nuevos en las colinas de Dakota del Sur nos traerán la última protección contra el útero de los niños del unborn que producen el maíz en la mazorca en forma del plastisol. la torta gigante de la zanahoria nos salvaremos.

what size should i get if im 5'8 and 145. i ride 176s now but 181s seem to big and i dont want to go smaller.

long story short, most fun park/all mountain ski I have been on. VS. (original 1080, spaceframe 1080, Line skogan's, Line E.P. (all black), armada AR5, Surface cushions(R.I.P).

I got the the Watch Life first of June skied every day at mammoth's park till closing 4th of july, then pre season jibbing in october. and constant riding since nov. and my edges are holding up so well, I don't have one crack in them. this is just my experience. oh and they are solid in the park, really playful sidecut. and strong for landings near the bottom of transition. no washouts, yet flexy enough to do good nollie/ollie's. good pop. and they look cool.

^^^you can get the 181 or the also make the watchlifes in a 171 if you don't wnat to make such a huge jump. I love my 171's and I am 5'10"

the thing is that i wont grow anymore i almost 19 and was told i am done. you still have the same feeling about the 181
