I only wish they came in like a 176..I'm 5'10 169 and torn between the too. I have skiied 165's and PE's in a 169, i feel like 181 is just to much..

as far as im concerned, most of their recognition can be traced back to his posts supporting them 2 years ago.
 
if they made skis like the watch lifes that had a bigger waist, id buy those fuckers in a second

at SIA sean said that surface and ninthward have the same business practices, ethics, style, everything. they should just merge into one giant company. they'd get along well.

I just got my surfaces and they are fuckin sick. I will rep them hard even though i am the farthest thing from being indy and artsy
 
when surface first came out I thought they were just another "core company." Armada, 4frnt, 9, surface, whatever. But they are actually very kickass, and the people there run the company very well. I have never once heard of any problems with the skis or the company, and I hear a lot of things. Props to surface on their work ethic and trying hard, and I hope that you do well. And everybody should get a pair, because they have the perfect flex and you will love them
 
ive ridden on mine 3 days and the topsheets are trashed ....not very durable......but the ski is fuckin unreal so light pops hard and spins perfectly, smooth as silk on rails too
 
I wish I were in the market for some new sticks, but if I did I would be looking for over 180. Damn. Oh well, sick company.
 
Ya same story here, the top sheet chips like mad, but the edges are extremely strong & durable. Fuck I love this ski.
 
my watch lifes have over 65 days and no sign of trouble whatsoever... got the live lifes today i will report tomorrow
 
the topsheets do chip easily, but we're fixing that for next year. our live lifes this year have a new topsheet inlay which makes them much more durable. mine have been banged up pretty bad and i have yet to see a chip in them.

sorry for this year, but next year will be tip top.
 
Yea the skis are so fun to ride but mine arent even gonna last till the end of the season at this rate.....Huge sections just are like peeling up all over the ski, i am pretty dissapointed with that
 
stop doing x gnar grabs. i've banged mine up pretty bad and there are a couple chips here and there, but they're still holding together well. it must be the skier, not the skis...
 
but will the chipping top sheet kill the ski eventually or is it just cosmetic?

seems like after every exit I'm glueing parts of the top sheet. I really dont give a fuck as long as it doesnt kill the ski.
 
maybe try taking care of your skis. this is the same shit with ipods. i see these kids complain about their ipod breaking and when they go and take a picture of it, it looked like it went through a wood chipper. these aren't mad trixs. deal with it.
