First week back in SLC and got to ride my new Watch Life's, finally! I have got to give these guys props, the skis are so dope and light as hell.

 
They are doing a damn good job. But they have taken their time and done it right, this is actually their 3rd year making skis...i think they nailed it this time.

Going skiing!!

i cant say enough good things about surface...awesome skis super light and look great...also the guys at surface are pretty cool...and how can you not love a ski company that has a single speed bike on their homepage...
 
i ripped on my fujis since summer of 04...somehow theyve held up through it all..that being said they dont ski like like normal skis anymore though...but theyve been doing a pretty decent job for how much they cost
 
I wouldnt' say they are amazing but I love mine. They are made for park and are great in the park, if you ski them elsewhere they won't be as good. mine still haven't lost camber and were at 9 days.
 
do they only sell online? are they good skis on ice?are they good all-mountain and carving? I'm looking forward to buy them, I'm getting tired of my old Tweaks...
 
Surface is pretty much the best thing that could happen to skiing right now. They think outside of the box, they're not confined by any styles, they do things how they wanna do it, overall it's just good vibes coming from surface. Big up's!
 
yah i'm really interested in picking up a pair for next yr but i want something with a waist size in between the two models and rumour has it next yr there will be something out that will please me
 
yeah i saw a kid riding them in utah and he said they were sick. and ive only read good things on here. i think i might buy a pair next season if i can find a little lower price
 
i hear you have to wear tight pants and act like a indy homo to ride surface

Im not too down with Surface either. Ive never ridden them or anything, so i cant really say. but some of their skiers around PC are really cool
 
yeah they are fucking rad skis, but I have p12 bindings in them, and they have been drilled twice already. If I want new bindings, I have to get new skis or else I'll snap them.
 
to whoever asked about ice and carving n such... they are siiiiick they hold an edge much better than any other park ski i have ever been on including all the k2s rossis nordicas salomons and 4frnts not a super soft buttery ski but that is what makes them so sick all over the hill... mine are mounted true center i have ridden them in park ice crud chopped pow deep pow ice and mixes of the above and have loved them in evrything but the deepest of snow mostly because of the true center mounting.......

the surface collab is all about just skiing and having fun trying to bring a different aspect to skiing.. for the most part the ski industry is pretty narrowminded to anything other than the norm ..

and yes to ski surface you must rock tight pants cry in dark corners and slit your wrists on occasion...
 
yeah, thats why i bought them. i hate my life, i hate pretty things, i hate puppies, i hate things that make me laugh, i hate pretty colors, i hate rainbows, i hate my family, i hate flowers and fluffy things, i hate sugar spice and everything nice, i hate skiing too. thats why i bought surfaces
 
ya im stoked on surface, i'll never be able to afford them

but k2 is dope too so i'll stick with them for a while. while i get deals and such
 
edit: i was tired when i read and had surface on the brain. i thought you said surface. but you said fujative. i agree. sorry.
 
glad to see im not the only one out there, we should get together some time, slit each others wrists and then have some angry anal sex!
 
how are the edges like do they hold up well against rails. because i know my old ass madtrix edges are unreal. so are these strong edges as well. I would like to find a new pair like my old old madtrix that can withstand anything thrown at them.

youre so in the box, youre in a smaller bax, with is contained in a smaller box in the origional box.
