Surface skis and icelantic

Did surface skis (odsessy) and Icelantic (nomad 95) make a ski more flexiable then the line blends? Is there any park ski on the market more flexiable/buttery then the line blend and honey badger? Who’s home mountain is winter park?

Those two skis you mentioned are stiffer than the Blends, they are one of the softest skis on the market forshure. The Odyssey & Nomad 95 have a more aggressive 3 stage rocker (Odyssey) and more early rise (nomad 95) -- this is what makes them playful and provides an easier catch free ride & butter capability. I wouldn't shy away from any for park use, but if you're into super soft skis & haven't looked in Vishnu's I'd say the Blend or Honey Badger is in the top tier of possibilities.

I had a pair of odysseys, they actually had not flex whatsoever. I could put all my weight on them trying to bend them against the ground and they wouldn't flex at all. They didn't feel as stiff as that on snow because of the rocker profile, but if you're looking for a soft ski they definitely aren't what you want

I own Wets and was just hand flexing some Blends at one of my local shops. The Blends seemed to have a little more give and that was even with them being shorter than my Wets.

The only thing is it was a weird flex. Like it didn't feel like they have much, if any, pop. The Wets are way lighter and have a much higher quality top sheet. Lines scratch and chip like crazy in my experience so I expect the Blends do the same. Plus the material isn't gritty like on the Vishnus. However the bases of the Blends seem way better than the Vishnus. Vishnus just look and feel sort of ehhh counterfeit? Like very Chinese. You can see the weave patterns in their bases and their graphics aren't evenly laid (at least on my pair) with unfinished graphics (like semi transparent) on the sidewalls. Not a huge deal though as this is cosmetic.

I'd just get whatever you prefer size wize? Want some thicc bois? Go Blends. You prefer a more standard sub 90 park ski? Go Wets.

I've heard a lot of people mention the weird pattern on the bases of the wets, mine definitely had that too when I first got them, but it went away after first wax. My guess is that most ski companies give their skis a tune after they leave the factory whereas vishnu is such a small operation that doesn't happen.
