i have live life 2s, same ski except no camber
I havent skied any of my other pairs for this whole season, everyday its an obvious choice which of my skis i want to be on. they have now become my everyday ski, and for the PNW i would highly recommend them for a mid-fat ski that can do it all.

Two of my friends have them, and we're in Washington. They both love them as an everyday ski, which is kind of unexpected because of the massive rocker, but whatever Surface is doing works. They are stiff enough to blow through crud and the clumpy snow we get up here, but they also float great in deep pow, and are even really good on groomers. And they can do short nimble turns in trees, and also rip big wide turns on open faces with ease. Go for it.

Amazing pow/crud ski absolutely slays all mountain, it holds up on hardpack and groom and is ok (not great) in the park. Great all mtn ski with tons of powder potential with the massive rocker. Good choice for a person who wants a versatile powder ski.

you really think the guy above you who rides for surface wouldnt know what he's talking about? despite the description on the website (which features many inaccuracies) the one life is different, but the differences make it even more versatile so it's not like its that big of a deal...

I am going to put an end to the LL2 and One Life difference debate. I emailed Mike Schneider ( one of the head people at Surface) asking what the difference was between the One Life and the LL2 and he said, "There is no difference other than a baller graphic change

LL2 is a different story. i think thats what you're getting confused with.

The One Life has camber underfoot. The LL2 was flat underfoot.
The One Life has vertical sidewalls. The LL2 had beveled sidewalls.
The One Life has more rocker. The LL2 had slightly less. The Live Life from the same year had even less rocker, with camber underfoot. It was also stiffer than the LL2.
The One Life also has more rocker than the New Life.

There is one thing we cannot dispute which is that the One Life has a 3 stage rocker right? This is what surface skis had to say about the 3 stage rocker technology, Dude! Sorry Landis but I would much rather get my info from Mike Schneider who is probably one of the biggest Surface reps and works for Surface, You don't work for for Surface yet Landis so you don't have much to loose, Mike does since he works for them and is part of the manufacturing and designing processes of all thier skis and I would think that he would know what hes talking about. I personally own the LL2 and have seen, touched, and practically smelled, and tasted the one life. And I could not see any difference between the 2 skis, besides the graphics. So If you were getting a ski and wanted to know anything about it who would you trust? One of the biggest Reps of the Company or someone who rides for surface and isn't even on the pro or world team? I could still be wrong but I got my info from the website and One of the biggest reps of Surface. If you have anything to prove me wrong then post pics and I will shut up and admit that I'm wrong.

I was comparing them and saying that a company rep is a better source!
