Surface One Life Review

Hey NS, I recently got my 179 surface one lifes with sth 14 bindings. I am 5'8" and 120 pounds. These skis are amazing!!!!!! they have a crazy amount of rocker. These skis handle amazingly all over the mountain. The camber underfoot allows them to charge on hard pack as well. I used them at Sun Peaks over thanksgiving break. I have not been able to test them on park yet, however i think they will manage. Like all skis they do chip, but it seems like they chipped more than the usual. All in all i give this ski a 9/10.

Nice, interested in buying a pair of these, what did you end up paying for them?

I have these in 189, and they absolutely rip the mountain. The only thing I'm not crazy about is the long ass turning radius, but its not too bad. When you get onto a big open groomer, you can absolutely rip past everyone. I used them a tiny bit in the park, got front 2's out of a mini rail, pretty easy but they are big and clumsy on features. Landing switch on them takes some getting used to though. Definitely my favorite ski I have ever been on.
