Surface on the up?

update: one of the tips on the sniper's started separating at seam of the edge and metal cap. not very impressed bc I rode them for 3 days and no parks use. Sent a email 2 weeks ago and still haven't got a response.

My buddies Give’rs exploded like a month into the season. Sold him a pair of beat up blends that lasted longer.

This age perfectly. I fucking hate surface outsiders

"obviously a ski with rocker like the outsiders is gonna be way easier to manual etc. on, compared to a ski with as much camber as the white walkers" -rotom-vape

So is the consensus that surfaces still don’t last?

How do you even continue making shitty skis for this long. Surface must be continuously making conscious choices to not improve their product. But why

Does anyone know where they press out of? I don’t know but I’m pretty sure it’s china. I might guess G87 alongside Vishnu because they have similar tip protectors

Because they make their money from people needing cheap skis. They’ve never been that great- in fact most shops back home haven’t carried em in years cause of durability issues.

people don’t buy surfaces because they’re amazing, they buy em cause it’s a price point ski and there will always be people wanting $200-$400 skis.

They used to be hella cheap until they kinda caught back on the past two seasons...hoping their deadstock prices get slashed this year, everything sold out in 2021

Yeah the Lab really was a special ski. Would be cool if a company made a ski similar to the Lab but with more durability. That edge to edge rocker is something else when it comes to a playful pow skis

Anyone insight as to how the odyssey skis? Found a bn pair locally for $100. I know it's the outsiders baby bro. Rocker is intriguing but as far as an east coast ski how will these hold up? Previously have ripped royales and give'rs.

$100 new? No brainer

$100 for brand new is killer. Duribility isn't always that great on them but for 100 bones you cant go wrong. I love the rocker on all these so its worth finding out if you do or don't.

I had a black and blue pair briefly and they were the stiffest ski I've ever felt. You try to hand flex and they wouldn't move at ALL. I definitely wouldn't want to ride them in the park
