Surface Noise.

I understand it fine. I have a job to help my dad you prick. The world needs more forgive and forget. I do practice what I peach, so to speak. That's why I say it. And yeah, I'm gonna move out at 16. Because I'm old enough to rent an apartment.

^chill homies. 45 has every right to take his business elsewhere. I dont agree with why hes doing so because i think he overreacted but thats his business and no one elses.

Lets not let this pissing match get any bigger.

Im stoked on my new 2013 Green Lifes to arrive

(I'm on mobile so I can't quote only - I'm gonna move out at 16)

How old are you? ...

I must say your independence at 14[?] is admirable but are you really going to be living at your own place when you're 16. There's a reason why you don't here of it often, because the kind of 16 year olds capable of living on their own and indeed parents who will let their children do so are few and far between. I know this is the case, as I am 16.

Nice. This is gonna be the third pair from the life series for me and i love everything about em. Fatty sidewalls and stiff throughout.

and hey, worst case scenario if something goes wrong we know they will warranty them ;)

Sorry you're upset but we have to disagree. We warranty a lot of shit other brands wouldn't. Straight up. Hit him up again and see if there's any other solution. We try to cover as many warranty issues as we can and do it quickly. Most brands have insane warranty policies and lag time. We deserve more credit than some groms on NS give us.

So true. Honestly I love everything about surface. The skis, the company itself the employed and the message it sends to the skiing world. That skiing can be anything you imagine it to be.

Yo brotha!

Just re-read this again.. I understand your frustration but also have to say... You are right when you say Skyler made a mistake. He confused two warranty issues without doubt. However, he caught his mistake before finalizing the deal all together.

You said it yourself, he "almost fucked you over" right?

Almost fucking someone over is a lot different than really fucking someone over, which in this case, he did not do...but yet you still come straight to NS and bash Surface publicly!?

I have to say, I just don't think thats acceptable or fair for that matter.

Not trying to start a pissing match.. but like you, just speaking my mind.

- Mike Schneider

Darn. I'm not really feeling the time series graphics seen at SIA no offense but they look kind of childish. However The lab 002 is pretty cool and the green life are so dope. I'm also really liking the life series graphics.

Do You think you will ever put sintered bases in your pow and higher end park skis?

What can i do about a top sheet ripping off at my tail?any warranties or refunds?

It was 5 hours of riding and i already have one tail piece coming off and a bunch of tearing everywhere else....

I personally like the graphics, but if you're picking skis based off of the graphics, you aren't doing it right,

sorry didnt mean to post 3 pics!

I know they are still ok to ride but I dont want to be riding one day while I am teaching and they fail on me.

How? There had to be some force directly on the the tip or tail. Did you ski straight into something?

Thats worse than i was expecting

hey guys found a good deal on one lives and was wondering what size to get, im 5'11' and 140lbs, ill use these with guardians, dukes or some resort touring style binding. I'm on the EC is that makes a difference and hopefully will be doing some touring if thats a good idea with these skis. right now i have 178cm park skis if that makes a difference, its either 179cm or 189cm, thanks

If they are for straight pow/all mountain crud, I would go 189, and if you are buying them off the clymb, use my sig! I have one life's, and they ride short, one lifes have a more drastic rocker, so they might feel even shorter. So go 189.

like 2 years ago i won a one of your facebook contests and i won. you guys said you would send me a shirt and i never got it :(

I can't tell you. You will need to go through the proper warranty steps. But I do know we will take care of you.

You dont think public bashing is acceptable or fair - I don't think the way my warranty case was handled was acceptable or fair.

Fact of the matter is - you can call it a "mistake" but its a little strange that after I reject his offer to spend more money on your brand, he all of a sudden comes back and decides to warranty my skis. He took down all my order information, so I really don't understand how he could have looked at the wrong skis and determined that they were no longer under warranty.

However, I will give him the benefit of the doubt - but that raises the question, How many pairs of Double Times are you guys having sent back for warranty that he got my pair confused when I had sent him photos of the damage prior to him ever checking?

I had nothing against Surface - you can find threads on NS where I am defending you to the end. But the lack of responsibility and acceptance of company mistakes has thoroughly ruined all faith I have in your company. I mean, I was solely responsible for helping you guys sell several pairs of skis to Iowa State University and pushing your brand in the midwest - I hid the issue of you guys sending us a few pair of Watch Lifes with the graphics printed on backwards, but I guess that just comes down to more Surface quality control inconsistencies.

Honestly stop complaining. Skis are meant to break over time. If you cared at all about in my opinion this fantastic ski brand, you would stop whining on the Internet and you would talk to the company directly. Plus just because you helped sell pairs doesn't mean you get new skis no matter what damage you put on them.

I agree they are meant to break over time - that's why I continued to by Surface. The keyword there - time. I had less than 30 days on mine before the peeled apart.

Selling pairs of skis wasn't meant to get my skis covered under warranty. It was to show how strongly I believed in this company and supported their product.

You all can say I'm over reacting and that my "vag" is bleeding - I'm just waiting for the time when your Surface skis break and shit doesn't go your way. Then we'll see who's really throwing a fit.

You're what's known as a chronic complainer consumer, it's important for business like Surface to identify this subset of the market so they don't waste their time and resources on people who will never be happy. Customer retention is important but some (like you) are honestly more costly to keep and deal with over the long term.

Your skis broke and they were warrantied. What the fuck else do you want? Im sure you would like Mike to wipe your ass for you but that just aint gonna

happen. Stop being a cry baby.

You write like youve never made a mistake in your entire life. Lord knows i hope you make an innocent mistake and someone shows you no mercy and makes your life absolutely miserable because of it. Brat

I have allready broke a pair of surfaces. But you know what, I came to the realization that the time spent riding on those skis, was some of my best time skiing ever. Also I know they are a young and developing company and I will do anything in my power to help them continue to grow and prosper.
