Surface Noise.

John Ware's been shredding the only pair we have and so far so good. We are playing with a couple different layups now but we will have them to show at SIA.

Tony is a freelance graphic designer... he's working hard at building his name in that game. He will be successful for sure. Talented dude!!

I don't think he'll be in any edits any time soon... unfortunately because he rips!

Gooo questions. We are using the naturally colored stuff on the Blanks.... and hell yes, the PU floormats are actually very effective. We have been putting them in Banks Gilberti's Double Times for a year or so now and he's definitely stoked on not only how much absorption they give him when hitting the big jump lines in Breck to icy hard landings but also how its preserving his edges when hitting rails.. it gives just a little rebound on edge contact.

Thanks for asking!

Friday is here, and we our ready to announce the first winner of the first complimentary care package.

And the winner is....

Congratulations! You will be receiving a PM regarding sending you something out!

Have a great weekend.

First I must say that I never owned a pair of Surface skis, but I really am looking into them for my next ski. From when your brand started I loved the feel and image that you guys put out into the ski world. It was definitely refreshing to me. I had a question regarding your Green Life ski. Is there any other aspects to Surface following this example of using recycled materials at all? Maybe a future park ski that is made of recycled materials? It would be really cool to know that a company like Surface is taking strides to being more sustainable in general. Thats all I got haha

Surface should name their go to do everything ski the every time.

Also are you going to make a longer version of the one time?

i just got some surface blanks, but i needed to mount some bindings onto them, and then i got some rossignol fks's, i can't ski until december 21 cause that's when i get everything back, but everything is look sick and i'll be sure to make an update and review i guess on the skis when i ski them a few times! one question though, how is the weight and swingweight compared to afterbangs? keep in mind i had marker freeten bindings on my afterbangs. and i will have rossignol fks on my blanks. thanks, looking forward to the reply!

A HUGE thanks to Mike, Surface is undoubtedly my favorite new company. I will without a doubt but more skis from you guys in the future. If you haven't looked into Surface, I highly suggest you do.

Any word whether there will be an 180+ length for the One Times? Cause like a 186cm would be groovy for us taller peeps.

Great idea. We are working on something new right now that will compliment our Green Life and plan on using the material in most of our skis. We're hyped about it.

Never skied the after bang so I'm not sure... But I do know the Blanks are lighter... Sorry not much help on this one...

The LAB 001 is actually skiing much better on hard pack than we ever expected.. It's more versatile than even we gave it credit for. It'd be a sick ski for you.

Make this Live Life again

Still my all time favorite ski, skied way better than the current Live Life design imo.

Or do you guys have any pairs kicking around your office? I'll buy them.

Yah that was a good one for sure. We don't have any left unfortunately. That ski inspired the One Time on multiple levels.

For the 13/14 season, could you guys please, PLEASE make the one time in a 180?? I'm drooling over them right now but sadly i'm 6' and the 173's would be way too small :(

I definitely say demo day in the Northeast. Come to Sunday River! I'm about to snag a pair of Green Lifes, but I've never skied a pair of Surface skis...

Stoked for the 5 panel coming out.

There's 2 sides to every story my friend. Not awkward for us. We have a business to run and sometimes you can't please everyone. "IMO"

Right on thanks man.. You should dig the Green Life's they're a great every day ski.

We get those wool caps this Wednesday! We're stoked too!

Shredding almost 2 feet of fresh today on my New Lifes was mind-blowing. They do anything you want them to do. Diggin' the 3-stage Rocker. Top sheet is starting to peel slightly off the tip of my left ski. Nothing epoxy or gorilla glue shouldn't fix. Other than that, They are a killer pair of skis.

I would also love to see this ski come back. i love my one lifes but sometimes the rocker is just a little too much. It always seemed to me that these live lifes still had the 3sr but it wasnt quite as dramatic. oh and one more thing, how does one go about tuning the labs? i would think with the convex base it would be just about impossible to put over a belt without destroying the shape of the base.

You could probably do a ptex candle fill, wait about 2 minutes after you have filled, and then carefully use a razor blade to trim the filled in area flush with the surrounding base.

No idea how you would ever grind such a base though...
