Surface no times compared to Salomon suspects.

Currently, I am skiing 08/09 Salomon suspects and was wondering how they would compare performance wise such as weight etc. If anyone who has ridden both of these skis could tell me how they compare, that would be great.

all I know is they both have durability problems, my No Times lasted 10 days and they snapped, & I haven't really heard a single good thing about the Suspects durability-wise. I would look elsewhere if possible. Thats all I've got, sorry it had to be negative.

Well, thats not what I was asking at all but thanks anyway haha I was meaning more performance wise, as in how light are they? how buttery are they?

They are really light, and really soft from what I've heard, but do look into other skis, surface has durability problems as stated above

Light skis suck, just man up and ride a beefy ski, its so much better not having to worry about your skis breaking all the time.

my no times are light as fuck, scary light as a matter of fact.

the durability on them has been fine so far, they have held up just as well as my old K2's

fuck surface haters!.. for 200$ no times are amazing.

The suspects are actually a fun ski to ride on if you forget the durability issues. They are fairly light and quite the jump ski. Although i don't know too much about Surface, besides from some similar durability issues.

Suspects and No time both suck durability wise. Don't try and get around it. Surface's low end park ski, whatever it happens to be, (nine life, no time) have always been super prone to snapping. Suspects I don't have any personal experience with, but apparently they don't have the best durability either. So I would just avoid both brands and get something with a good reputation.

Sure you might get a good use out of either ski, but why risk it when you could buy something you know will hold up?

Again, you have failed to answer the question. I'm not interested in how shitty the suspects are, and if you read the actually OP , you would have known that I have already and am currently skiing the suspects, and do not plan on getting them again. I just wanted to know how they compare performance wise to the suspects, so I can decide if it's what I'm looking for. The No times aren't my only choice of ski, I was just wondering how the perform.

What do you like in a park ski? It really all comes down to preference.

I'm riding recoils right now, and I'm really happy with them. Very durable, great for all round park use and all-mountain. They are not light though, thats for sure.

Definitely something light. Ski'd the 10/11 k2 disorderlys and didn't like how heavy they were. Nothing very heavy, and I was hoping to get something softer as well.

Take a look at Atomic punx, T-halls, and mabeye Line TCs, all skis with good reputations, all all on the softer to soft side.

Im on my second pair of no times..they are light, catch free on rails because of the early rise in the tail. Depending on how hard you ski they could break pretty easily. I've never riddin the other ski though. They lock in in rails pretty well, a good ski for the price.
