im 5ft 9, 130 pounds, and looking at the 172 surface nine life. it well be used for all park, and I ski mostly rails. i hear the pop is great, and they are light, which is awesome. how have you guys found the narrow underfoot? it almost seems too narrow in my mind. also, how do they butter and press with the rocker? how does the early rise compare with the softness of the anthem for buttering? and hows the durability? do you guys think this will be a good ski for me?
ps. feel free to add your own thoughts and comments about the ski

first they have horrible durability talk to Big_Spence he had like 15 edge cracks after about 4 days i think. and there is another thread about the nine life that has been floating around lately

It is no secret that some of the surface nine life's had quality issues last year. For this year they have changed the name, and hopefully are using better materials. I have heard that they are a great ski besides the quality issues.

The nine life is such a fun ski. The early rise makes it so nice and fun. The only down fall is the quality. The top chips easly the edges get little breaks, they snap. All kinds of things but if you only way 130 i dont think you could snap a 172 cause that what i have and i am 125 pounds and mine has held up great!
