Surface New Life vs Line EP Pro

I can't decide! 194 AB New Life or 2010 185 EP Pro? Will be mounted with Salomon Guardians. I'm 6'4 190lbs. Will be used for messing around in BC and resort pow days. Which floats/surfs better? Which is more playful? I felt the new lifes flex, how does the EP compare? Thanks!
 
Ep Pro is a total noodle, New Life's are supposed to be very stiff (haven't flexed these, just what I have heard). I think the New Life's would be better for everything other than slower speeds jibbing around in bottomless pow.
 
I'm about your height and quite a bit heavier and went with the 194 New Lifes because they are supposed to be quite a bit stiffer. Think old Hellbents, but stiff. I've got a friend who's about the same size as you and was looking at EP's a couple of years ago (he ended up going with Hellbents) and he was told right off the bat that he was going to overpower them. I think EP is a a pretty small dude. I think EP's would be fun to mess around with, but from what I've heard, I think you would likely find them way too soft.

I'll be out on my New Life's for the first time this weekend, so I'll let you know how they are.
 
did you ever buy the new lifes? im 6'2 215 lbs and looking at getting them but i dont know if i want the 194 or 184
 
im 6'3" 200+ and ski the 194 they take a little getting used to but ski short for their size. the stomp the fuck out of everything in soft snow/crud/tracked out pow. Ice and hardpack can be a little scary if your moving fast but definitely manageable.
