My brother made a thread about this a few years ago, but I need more imput.

I like Dick Dale.. Satan's Pilgrims... but that's about all I know about..

Any other suggestions?
 
Agent Orange is a GREAT GREAT band. but its not traditional surf by any means at all. they are punk, with a surf riff every now and then. slightly stoopid, is their own thing really, but not surf at all. ska yes, ragge yes, punk yes, not surf though.

YES. I used to be in a surf-space punk band and we did some Elvis costello songs (no action, radio radio) and we did a few moam songs, and it was sooo sick. We had the nastiest, oddest fuckin guitarist ever. So much fun.
 
There was this band that is now defunct, the squares or "squares". really good surf music. the cd is called 8 songs. I dont know if you can really find much of their music though. If anyone has ever seen the wakeboard flick Boombox All the guitar tracks are Squares tracks.
 
Oh man, the talent things too bad haha. We were called Conrad B. The guitarist had been playing guitar since he was 6, I'd been playing drums since I was 5, and the bassist since he was 10. It was insane. We had a song in 17/5 and only like 3 of our songs were in 4/4 and 3/4. Insane.
