If we play our cards right, the downgrade could end up being really beneficial to the American job and export market. If there's any time to encourage business and production- it's now.
 
The United States never was anywhere close to a 'AAA' rating. One would hazard AAA to mean the very best in all aspects. To say it is the top of the very best of all aspects of a country is false in so many ways. I would go ahead and say there is no country in the world who I'd be close to comfortable giving that rating to. and if you want reasons, i''ll list them out

I'm from America and I love this country. I havn't been to a lot of other countries so I'm not sure about them. I do feel that America is on a downwards slope though, too many people taking advantage of the system and too many loopholes and problems that politics are not solving. I feel the political system needs a restructure. Aside from that I like this country and all it stands for.
