Supreme clothing

Never said Supreme was. It's mid-grade streetwear at best. I was referring to some of the other brands that were mentioned, like LV and Comme Des Garcons.

So supreme is basically Jiberish for the entire population, not just skiers?
 
I had never even heard of supreme before the shit fights on IB's thread appeared, pretty funny though that people get angry about how much other people spend on clothing

I never heard of supreme before some kid posted a picture of a hat in that thread and said he got it for "a pretty good price, $90 shipped." I had a what the actual fuck moment.
 
Lol that would be weird if it was the same person. But supreme has been around a lot longer than most of you guys think. It's just blown up recently because of the publicity it's gotten through people like Tyler the creator and shit like that.

yea that's what i don't get, who cares how much it costs?

if he has $90 to spend on something he wants, then power to him, my wardrobe consists of jeans ranging from $40 to $220 in price and some that i got from friends who didn't want theirs anymore

I buy what i like. granted a lot of my more expensive purchases were made when i was in high school and had a part time job. part time job in high school = enough disposable income to buy pretty much what ever the fuck i wanted..
 
Apparently jiberish is owned (or at least was started) by some guy named Dave boger and another person. That's what the google machine says anyway.

Oh and arguing about/defending Supreme or any other clothing brand is lame as fuck. Wear it if you like it, you dont need to justify your taste to anybody.

well there is no real legitimate reason to delete this thread besides it's full of stupid bitching and arguing about a pointless topic.

and i'm 100% sure a good amount of mods have read this, it's a 5 page thread in NSG. haha if you don't think they read everything that comes up in here i assure you you're wrong.
 
Oh i'm sure they search through NS just as much as you or me does, but I don't read every single post in a thread, especially a 5 page one, and I can't imagine they do either.

As OP, I can confirm that this thread is a shit storm and I didn't mean to start one. I just wanted to get people's opinions on if the clothes were overpriced.

no, they're not overpriced. resale is overpriced. and Supreme might cost more than some people want to pay for clothes. but that does not make them overpriced.
 
Supreme tees and hats are the same price as jiberish if not cheaper

RESALE is what makes them so expensive.

Hoodies are comparable to Jiberish as are pulls

more like a reason to bump his thread. I dont mind this thread, it brings up a few good point about north american consumer culture and how overpriced all these clothings are. And its not even bad for a summer thread
