Supreme clothing

so your hating on me for doing the same thing? except that my money is going towards a car? you sir are a hypocrite

They are both tee shirts. tee shirts. Think about what that word means. Think about the actual value behind a sewn together bundle of fabric that you cover your body with.

Thanks to advertising and consumerism, they cost 40-70$ retail (and can be sold online or upwards of 200$).

Any clothing company could sell shirts for 5$ and still make a hefty profit.

They are both fundamentally the exact same thing.

They cover your body.

Its a fabric.

Fucking cotton... Or some other shit that you consider "better quality".

Made from overseas laborers for a couple cents.

You are being hustled for 10000% profit. Please explain to me how I lack (*logical) knowledge in regards to buying tee shirts? If you enjoy giving companies 10000% markup, then fine. Go right ahead. Whatever. The really sad part is you probably support Occupy Wall Street on twitter or some shit like that.

people buy it because they can afford it, and they make nice things. Sure it is expensive, but if people want to buy it they can. I think you jelly and all you will say is "no supreme is dumb and expensive bro." thats your opinion and some people like supremes clothes or like to show they can afford a fairly well-known, pricy brand.

This, thank you

I own a few supreme pieces, not because of OF, but because it's an attractive brand and the shit they make (in my opinion) is what I would want to wear. All this bullshit about who 'actually' wears it or who's riding dick is ridiculous, I see kids drop so much money on Jiberish and if you started saying that shit on a Jiberish thread you would get slayed. It's a brand, however expensive, and people are going to wear it regardless, let's all stop freaking out.

I don't think anybody thinks all there is, just you can MAYBE justify paying restarted amounts of money for a sweatshirt, but most people do not want to pay $100+ for a t shirt or hat.

I know, i dont know whats worse, gypsykilla talking about how much his friend wasted on his "fit" or HOFFM@N defending supreme and his floral hoodie.

Wear whatever the fuck you want just dont post it here.

This thread should have been deleted long ago.

The concept of "Premium brands" is basically masturbation with a price tag. Get over yourself and find fulfillment in life out of something other than the clothing you wear.

You are not you're job. You're not how much money you have in the bank. You're not the car you drive. You are not the contents of your wallet. You're not your fucking khakis.

You are the all singing all dancing crap of the world.

same concept and if the hoodies were defective they never would have been sent fro the factory to jiberish, just because they fade dosnt meen there defective

Supreme sucks /thread

Also, is anybody free this weekend? I need help discretely parking vans in the lower levels of all top US financial firms in every major American city.

You are so wrong, it's not even funny. While I don't like how the guy above presented that style, he does know his shit - those companies are killing it right now, and have been for a while.

Is this directed at me? just wondering. and for real these companies are fucking destroying right now. and yea no one understands mark ups at al.

Get real kid. You are paying premiums for a screen print. Its simple.

Industry hustles you because you are stupid.

You pay for a lot of things with med/high end clothing, such as higher quality fabric and stitching, manufacturing location, and the image/exclusivity associated with the brand. As far as your discussion of profits, you have no clue what you're talking about. It costs a lot of money to play in that space. While higher end brands do see higher gross margins (60%) than the apparel industry on average, it takes a lot of money and reinvestment to maintain success in that niche. FYI, high-end fashion and streetwear companies don't rely on $0.50/yard cotton and slave labor that some of the mass-produced ones use. The only reason people think that paying a lot for clothing is stupid is that they're too myopic to comprehend why people place radically differing values on clothing.

this.

You are only kidding yourself.

And I don't think Supreme is to be blamed for this. It is all the assholes out there who buy one of each piece and then sell it new (ONLY TRIED ON) that fucks everyone else over by trying to make a quick double profit on what they just bought.

An originally $30 shirt just became a $60 one because of an asshole.

Hoffm@n this goes towards you. I don't understand why you think thats ok.
