support the troops

This comment enrages me as beyond ignorant, but I will try to be civilized.

That's the point man, these people volunteered to defend their country, our liberties. I don't agree w this war at all, it's time for Bush to step down, but the troops don't call the shots, THEY TAKE THEM IN THE CHEST. For this bravery in carrying out their duty in the face of archaic politics, and great danger THEY DESERVE OUR SUPPORT AND RESPECT.

waterville is absolutley right, why should we respect people that signed up to go kill and destroy? everyone in the armed forces is either directly or indirectly supporting killing. i dont give a fuck if they get blown up, they signed up for it, they were dumb enough to go risk there life for this shitty goverment and there shitty agendas so i have zero sympathy for them. i want the troops out not because i love them and am worried about them, i want them out because they are simply creating more enemies and putting people i care about in danger.

Oh no, the soldiers are going to question what they are fighting for? We can't have that...

Iraq is fucked, and it's because of us. We need to leave because they hate us and aren't going to let us fix it. This is not the fault of the troops... it's the fault of the architects of the war.

my brother-in-law has already been to iraq and back. not the same dude anymore. has been stationed in gemany for the last few months. but then we got a phone call, saying he has to go back. why if the troops are supposed to be being pulled out, does he have to go back? he's already been... =[
