Superunkown vids are up on level1 sit

im usually not very critical of other's actions, but submitting his rage segment was not really in good taste. he didnt even edit out dspongs shots, so technically he's a contestant too...
 
i liked johnny scotts edit the best. Ian shouldnt even be in the running. tom and nick were sick but i get tired of rails fast.
 
JOHNNY SCOTT WINS!!!! What do we want to see in vids? BC, and this kid slays it. I have been out with him a bunch of times this year and he always kills it, always guinying huge BC gaps switch, he deserves the win. Sure T Wallich is sick, but he is going to be uber pro already with rail tricks like that, but i don't want to watch a seg full of rails. I know lots of people feel differently, But i watch ski vids to see sick BC, things that can't be done at any resort, and Johnny Scrizz deserves this
 
Clearly Tommy W. should win, his vid is mezmorizing, Nick Mart is quite sick as well, however overall, wallisch is ripping all sorta of terrain... to bad its not in the superuknown vid and the kid shows GREAT room for advancing and going SO FAR in the freeskiing community.....kids is FUCKING dope Quick.... Duhhh!
 
Agreed, Scrizz can pretzel anything, he is definitely the most well rounded skier of all the Superunknowns, and that should be most important, ability to do it all
 
i saw his video last year and it was so sick. however didn't see the 4 tens that everyone talked about. it would be sick if i could see that
 
tom wallish: best combo of rail jumps

Jonny Scott, cosco: switch blindside spins should be illegal so disqualified (even i am able to look both ways swtich)

David Lesh: bad style I wouldn't want to see him in a movie

Martin Soderberg: cant really know if hes good enough by showing like 5 tricks

Curtis bolduc: learn to grab and do bigger rails not 10ft rails 1 cm off the ground

Nick Martini: sick rails, jumps

DB: sick rails but honestly jumps were not exactly smooth (not ski movie worthy)

winner: tom wallish, nick martini or db if its all about urban
 
martini is fuckin dope as hell. but no one has shit on wallisch, pretzels and shit on urban and mad urban switch up. no one else can do that
 
i agree, but neither this site nor level 1 does. the fact that they had rails in their japan seg really pissed me off. if they were night rails....maybe forgiveable, but you travel to the epicness that is japan and hit handrails???? come on
 
i don't know about anyone else, but i thought that Martin dude's video was dope...

everything was mad steeze and clean, both 5s and both cab 7s, both switch lips on handrails.

i liked it.
 
uhhhh i dont know what videos you were watching but bealieaus urban was better than wallisch's, which is insance cause wallisch's was a lot of bangers.
 
I'd probably pick Jonny Scott because (1) I've never heard of him and (2) I don't want to see park shit in a Level 1 movie unless it's a pretzel cork 810 to rail or something like that.
 
db didnt do a legit pretzel urban though. Tom wins. Plus hes spankered by 4frnt and 4frnt spankers level one....a connection aye. Tom wins.
 
Get over it, Wallish is sick for sure, but 80% of his rails are either boxes or small ass park rails, and that isnt even interesting for level 1. Do you think beaulieue and martini cant do these park jib spining on and off? Get outta here!
 
uhhh im pretty sure i saw one in there, im pretty sure i also saw a 270 to switch on a 46 stair rail, hmmmmm.
 
jonny scott. backcountry is where its at nowadays in vids. I bet he can hang with all the other kids in park, but chooses to ride his sled and challenge himself with new terrain
 
couldn't have said it better. and to respond to what steve said earlier, yes being a well rounded skier like jonny scott is BY FAR the most important thing. Who wants to watch ski movies in terrain that they could go out and ski everyday like the park? Not me. I like progressive segments and ones that venture out of the park. J Scrizz works hard in the BC and has an incredible passion for the sport. JONNY SCOTT SHOULD BE THE NEXT SUPERUNKNOWN
 
jonny scott was the best for sure, then nick. tw is crazy with rails but spinning like a top on everything gets kinda old
 
ya because steep 5 kinks in the city are deffinatly small park rails, if you had been watching correctly like a good third of the video was all burly urban rails so stfu!
 
Well, first off, nobodys jumps were too spectacular. nothing really at the same level as the pros. Because of this I would suggest berman not pick a kid just because of his jumps... rails are a different story though and both tom wallisch and DB are up there with the best pros in the industry in terms of urban. Therefore I would weigh rails higher then jumps in this contest. Both tom and db are pushing the sport in urban and having one of them filming with level 1 would make for a more interesting part then some random kid who is OK at urban and GOOD at hitting park jumps... SO i would saw either tom wallisch or DB should win this contest.
 
I watched them again and changed my mind...DB's urban was ridiculous...I can't even figure out which way he slides natural.  
 
martin killed it! if i was watching a movie i'd say out of all of the people in the contest he would be the one i'd want to watch
 
Wallisch is sick, but if he could take his tricks to larger stuff, why didn't he?

Beaulieu is unstoppable though, lip 270 to switch, and a lipslide on that monstrous quad kink, it's just uneblievable
 
And beaulieu does back to back lipslides, natural, then unnatural, the unnatural one with a switchup in it, on ballsy rails.
