And just to clarify, is the winner among the finalists or do they just show the winners edit after all the finalists videos are put up?
 
damn gaute's edit was super sick. dudes got style. im pretty disappointed in the video player though. subpar. i hope level one doesnt use freeskier again in the future. vimeo ftw.
 
It took me like 2 days to remember where I knew this song from... it's the intro song in Matchstick's Push I think. Super sick song.
 
what qualifies you as "superunknown"? because a lot of people who enter have already appeared in major comps or are sponsored. Obviously they still deserve a chance at filming with level . I'm just wondering how much level 1 actually takes this into consideration when judging.
 
Dane's edit is the only one that deserved a second and third watch in my opinion.

The rest of them have been so predictable thus far. It was refreshing to see an absence of bright colours and double corks...
 
Level 1 has always chosen their winner with their main focus on style, if they do that this year, it will be Sig Tveit.

He has BY FAR the best style of all the super unknown edits, and I cant really think of anybody that has better style than Sig Tveit.

I think he will fit the Level 1 crew perfectly!
 
i dont think you understand that style is completely subjective, and that everyone has their own tastes. on top of that not even half of the edits have been released yet. on top of that dane still has the sickest edit released yet. yes i know i contradicted myself.
 
Max killed it on the rails! really enjoyed that edit! wish we saw a little more jumping but hey i'd buy a level 1 movie just to see what he throws when surrounded by other top urban skiers.

I really hope one of the remaining kids really just blows our minds, stuff we haven't seen before... I want to see something unique, something creative.
 
I think morello had insane urban game, and Dane had good creativity and that gaute just all around killed it
 
morello slayed the railgame, but im still waiting to see something thats up to par with a level 1 segment. one of the next segments is bound to blow us out of the water.

jonny scott was my pick. he basically went around to all the iconic BC jump spots and slayed. now that takes a lot of hard work to do.

but level 1 made the right choice with tom
 
you know where i can watch that video of johnny scott? wallisch was obviously the right choice but i remember all the contention about it before the winner was announced. and the iconic bc jumps checklist sounds pretty fucking sick
 
Morello had the best rail game of all. That last rail is huge in person. I can't even get my mind around a 2 on to it.

idk ive tried to find it before. those were the days though. everyone had different videos. nowadays, its just urban mixed with shots from breck.
 
Austins is back up with fixed audio. And just wanna point out, who the fuck grabs their ski in a pretzel? and he only did all 8 cuz he bonked his head and got a concussion while they were filming for this. who else does all 8 while takin it easy?

Damn max. 2 onto that 4 kink was fucked up. not the best jumps but amazing rail skills, 2 ons like a pro.
