Superunknown VI Finalists Announced

owens kills it, kids 16 and slays so hard. that kids progressed soo much in the past year its unbelievable, he's got a bright future for sure..deserves a chance at this for sure.

We were watching Bergeron's edit yesterday wondering how the fuck it didn't make it into finals. Kids got a really good chance of winning.

just watched bergeron's edit. that was so sick. his jump skills are so sick and he doesnt bang like a dumbass. not to mention his urban skills were pretty sick too if lacking a little bit in the style

PAUL BPAUL BPAUL BPAUL BPAUL BPAUL BPAUL BPAUL BPAUL BPAUL BPAUL BPAUL BPAUL BPAUL BPAUL BPAUL BPAUL BPAUL BPAUL BPAUL BPAUL BPAUL BPAUL BPAUL BPAUL BPAUL BPAUL BPAUL BPAUL BPAUL BPAUL BPAUL BPAUL BPAUL BPAUL BPAUL BPAUL BPAUL BPAUL BPAUL BPAUL BPAUL BPAUL BPAUL BPAUL BPAUL BPAUL BPAUL BPAUL BPAUL BPAUL BPAUL BPAUL BPAUL BPAUL BPAUL BPAUL BPAUL BPAUL BPAUL BPAUL BPAUL BPAUL BPAUL BPAUL BPAUL BPAUL BPAUL BPAUL BPAUL BPAUL BPAUL BPAUL BPAUL BPAUL BPAUL BPAUL BPAUL B

Kid has so much style, he reminds me of Casabon, I think he would lay down hammers for level 1

i think paul bergeron has got the best edit and would be perfect for level1. But if they're really looking for someone who's "super uknown", i think Niklas Eriksson would be the guy. I've never heard anything about the kid, and he's super good. Not to mention Chris Laker, his rail skills is iiiiiimpresive!

Looking forward to see who wins, when will it be announced?

Cant believe there arent more people behind chris laker, he's doing tricks beyond anyone else and he's only 15.

Most of them are amazing, but also remind me of other rider. most of the kids I saw there have a style that's an exact copy of HH or TW etc... They're are not adding anything new to the sport (besides being incredibly good and doing ALL the tricks)
Luka Melloni is the only one that has a new fresh style to me, but also, he's my homie so my opinion might be screwed up. Some others have a way bigger bag of tricks, althought might not have a personal style.

b-paul is the best, but he doesnt need superunknown, hes probably gonna go pro next year

other than chris laker who is insane nothing really stood out for me, except the end of frank gp's edit, so sick

yaa aiden had a dope video but he was putting out stuff from unknown video before the videos came out to public so could've been dq

but bpaul has my vote!!

Paul B has my vote. He is realy REALY one damn good of a skier. His style is sooo fresh, so clean, so fun to watch. He can stomp every tricks that are in his videos 20 times in a row if he wants, he is learning new tricks everyday and is so motivated, realy the kind of skier that can get a part filmed in two days of shooting. He's the king of rider that level 1 needs.

yeah for sure but the only thing that suck whit B paul it's that I heard that he doesn't have a good atitude... like he is breaking spotlight when he can't land his tricks but don't know if all that is really true...

owens fucken kills it. Hes 16 and has such good style. Not to mention he's from NORTH CAROLINA... thats pretty super unknown if i've ever heard of it. Its easy to do banger trick when you have 50 sick rails in a row and a 5 jump line. I really dont see how anyone could ride pc or summit and be considered unknown.

I have to agree Charlie kills it. When I was in Utah a few weeks ago I rode with Charlie for awhile claim/ but it was murdering everything in sight. I can only imagine what he could do at a photoshoot plut he's only 16

Corey Roberts killed it! Tim McChsney, and Paul B definitely have what it takes.and Warnicks "afterbang" made me feel uncomfortable.
Stoked to see so many legit vids tho. Can't wait to see who wins

Just watched Niko Soi's part and i noticed that every other urban at the end was unatural foot forward. Thought that was pretty cool.

You can call me out and say this is a claim and what not but I had the chance to ski with Niko for an afternoon in Big White and he killed it. Although it doesn't show in his video, from what I saw, he can get onto rails just about any way imaginable. I even saw a switch butter 270 on to a 40ft down which reminded me of JF Houle at Dew Tour. The jumps at big White weren't too great but I saw some dialed in cork 3s and switch cork 7s. And his backcountry stuff in his video are Wiley Miller-esque is you ask me.
Anyways he has one of the few (note that I didn't say only) edits in there that were different and from what I've seen, he's solid in every aspect from BC, to park, to urban. Sorry it got long.

Here is a realistic analysis....
yes, paul b, warnick, sean j and all those kids kill it. But the reason why there is so much debate is because they are all so similar. every one of them completely emulates tom wallisch. how many kids do you want afterbanging out rodeo 9 mute or flat 3 tweaked jap. weve all seen that shit before. im not denying the fact that most of those kids would kill a park shoot. however level 1 already has so many banger kids that i think it would be stupid to take on another one (look what happen to brogan, just another face in the afterbang crowd).... level 1 needs some fresh talent which is why they need to take:
-luka melloni (personal favorite)-chris logan-andrew holson-corey roberts-mcrae williams

these kids kill it with their own style

I love how nobody is even mentioning Matt Luczkow.. I mean it was 97% BC shit but without a doubt in my mind it was the sickest edit.. Maybe not the best for a Level 1 park shoot.. but on another level from the others in my mind..

i totally agree with you, i think the gayest thing about most of the edits s that only Corey Roberts did a press. im getting really tired of sw ups and pretzels. Presses are the shit!!!!

yea dude that tail press on that big ass rainbow was dope...
loved that kids edit would love to see that kid take it

not to sound like a noob but who won superuknown 1-3 i know all about brogan and wallice but when i google superuknown 1-3 michael clarke pops up for all of them.

AGREED!!!!

This is a legitimate statement.. seems like these days everyone is trying to be the next brogan, thus trying to make their style exactly like his. Im not hating on afterbangin', it looks dope as hell, but i just think kids that are adding their own flair to it are progressing the sport more.

Thus my vote goes to Corey Roberts.. kids like 17 from smalltown midwest POS ski hll with like 100 ft of vert. Got sick as style that stands him out fro the brogan copy cats... plus that press on the rainbow was nasty as shit.
