SUPERUNKNOWN III FINALISTS

I really have to give props to Ahmet. He put togethter something totally unique, and it is oozing with style. There are some things in that video that I just cannot get enough of.

Anyway, I am so incredibly stoked to be among these phenomenal skiers.
 
well the only superunknown there is christopher honeywell. he deserves it more than anyone. he doesn't do six switchups on a flat rail or 1080's out of c boxes, he is progressing skiing stylewise and trickwise.

everytime he goes skiing he steps it up a notch and blows my mind with what he can do. on top of that he cleans every trick with amazing style. he has the most potential out of anyone there.

my vote goes to him,ahmet and david.

all 3 of those guys deserve mad props, and if i were berman id give em a split segment and those 3 guys would kill it.
 
the only unknown there are me and chris but everybody killed it, should be judged on the overall (most trick unnatural, spin on and off rails, urban)

The rider who should win, should be the kid who doesnt get on here and claim his shit to everyone. Its stupid to say Im superunknown and hes not. It just looks stupid.

oh gosh..christopher honeywell for suure.. the style is emaculate.. sooo smooth. i heard he has an arsenal of new footy that was shot to late for this contest.... but that bs switch to fakie on that double at the end of his video was meeeental
 
lol, maybe but there mostly my friends but I think this thread should die and lets berman decided who he wants to hook up and shoot with him. Everybody has a good vid.
 
i just watched them all again. Clarke is sooo smooth with everything. he spins both ways and they are smooth as hell.
 
its funny looking at this thread....pretty much everyone is supporting there friends, except for the people that list the best qualities innevery video that dont know any of the contestants.....how about, we let berman do the picking, and we stop talking up our friends! as for my review here goes:

Ahmet: fucking rediculous urban.....FUCKING REDICULOUS URBAN!!!!! i wish this could could get the travel bduget he needs to get around and shoot sick jumping because he got the talent, just needs the right environment...but that will coemw hen he moves to PC next season...

Clarke: Clarke is the man....oozing with smoothness....thats all you gotta know, is that clakre is the smoothest fuck ive ever seen

Riddle: being from alberta as well, i know that when your living there, you gotta travel a lot, because the closest mountain to where riddle lives, is a 4 hour drive...making it uber difficult. he kills it in the competition scene (2nd at world cupo in france?) and he is a super talented all around kid

Lil John: hahahahahahhaha probably the funniest kdi ive ever met....he has always been so talented and hes rding with WV now so he has benn out west and traveling a lot....pretty much jsut killing it...jsut winning the YGO in Avila, is SO sick for him finally landing some new sponsors...although i dotn think hsi video portrays all of his skills at all....the kid is sick, but i wish he had put mroe effort into his video!

Honeywell: i enjoyed watching a lot of the urband in this video and i see a lot of potential in thsi kid, but i do think his jumping could use a little bit fo work...overall impressed with a lot of his urban and was stoekd on hsi rail style

beaulieu: i thought this video was probably the most even between jumping and rails and urban, the 270 on the hadnrail was really sick, he locked on and did it with a ton of style, but i was nto all that impressed with his style in the air...rail style was immaculate, but jumping style was lacking i thought

and to tell yout he truth, ive heard of all fot hese riders before....does that make them all known? lets let berman decide, cuz hes not gonna pull peopel out fo the contest now, whcih means he obviousyl thinks we are all unknown enough to be in it

leave it to berman, i trust he will pick the right person

Sraight from the Level 1 superunknown contest official rules and regulations. specifically says potential sponsorship contraCts, and does nto say anywhere that you ahve to sign with new sponsors or anything like that.
 
yeah , I know my style is not the best from season 04 05. But its hard to have style with stretch pants and a jacket like mine lol, but I think this year my style is better and maybe my move are not as nice because they are all mostly unnatural in the second part of the vid.

so I think like you said Ian that we should let this thread die because everyone want to see his friend win and its not like that it's supposed to go.
 
and all the videos are nasty in so many different ways, its going to be interesting to see who wins in the end
 
Look at my business analysis of the situation... Unless berman wants to prove me wrong, at this point, the right move is riddle..
 
lil johns video definately lacks a LOT of what he can do in the air now. he has learned a lot already this season alone. just last year a lot of his air stuff could improve a lot, ive always given him shit about it and thank god hes working on taht stuff now, not too mention cleaning it up in all ways. i know his video had mostly rails in it, but thats mostly because i was still crippled as shit while i filmed him, i wasnt really supposed to be touching snow that early after surgery but i hiked up as far as i could for most of the shots. i tried to ski twice but it was jus way to scary, if that couldve been done i gaurentee you way more jump footage of him.
 
I say its between riddle and clarke because they madd deserve something bigger and better like winning superunknown

anywho... I wasn't impressed by Chris Honeywell's segment at all, the other finalists were much much better, it's a very difficul decision.
 
damn all those vids are pretty dope. i know John, not so much ahmet or his brother, but from what i've seens been killing it for the past few year. this is quite the contest i must say, good luck berman
 
I dont think that LJ's video showed his entire potential but he won the Ygo anyways, for the tricks I tought that cosco was the best but I personnaly dont think he needs that exposure (sorry) Therefore Id like Db to win because I think he does need to get out of quebec to get BIIGG
 
well, i think Strenio is out for Super Unknown then, he is already on the Young Gun team for teh masters from QC... which by the way is going to own...
