Ya it is true. Goin to be sick as hell. If it is anything like last years I wouldnt advise people with weak stomachs to watch.

It sure is true. I think I posted this a while ago but no one seemed to acknowledge it.

that still sounds really sick! how legit is this though? like local pros or ams or uber pros? either way i'm sure louise is gonna pimp out their park for this thingy.

Uber pros man. I guess some guys work all year to get invited to it.

it was AWESOME! i just got in from the hill and i hit up what they left up of superpark, the wall rail the flat drop down rail a 50 footer at the top the 1/4 pipe and the hip plus a few rails in the beginners side. i havent ever hit a 1/4 that big before it was awesome.. i cant believe today was the last day, it was an awesome season and louises park went off this year!

I love big dumps.

its all about the big mountain.

Yeah,

Those jumps were pretty gnarly, and after it was all done they let Eric H. (can't spell his last name...sorry), and Rory Bushfield hit that half pipe gap (shooting for MSP). Luckily I was able to poach it as well...biggest jump I ever hit! Like 95' to the knuckle!

that makes me want to go to Louise next season instead of whistler

I just did Louise and it was pretty sick.

The park is getting much bigger there, although the place they put it doesn't give them much room to expand. I think that half pipe gap was 110 feet and the third jump was 90 feet with a 30 foot step down... The good thing about Louise is the snow is super dry, great for powder skiing. You have to worry about coverage sometimes tho... it just depends if you hit them on a good year. I'd say try Louise for sure. If you do, try to get staff accom in Banff... CHEAP staff accom or you won't have enough money to party well. Fortress is closed next year, too bad too, it's an amazing mountain. They do trips to other places throughtout the year too, plus any you can get in. Tons of mountains easily accessible on your 2 days off... Did I mention that when working there you get a pass to ALL of the RCR owned mountains as well as Sunshine and Norquay (friday night jibbing). Plus discounts at other places.

Don't be me wrong tho, RCR sucks. Try to be a liftee, the liftee bosses kick ass.

Haha, that Brit just stacked it... and landed on that other Brit!
