I dont have any, cept for the one of candide. I was wondering if anyone has any pics of thew jumps or riders or anything...it all sounds realy cool but i have no idea what a 100 foot stepdoun looks like. Is it like tha one Julien does in propaganda?

It looks like a regular jump, but the takeoff is much higher than the landing, Im guessing 15ft?

It looks like the last jump at the X games slopestlye contest this year. The table is built at the top of a cat walk an drops off right after the jump. You get more hang time.

The stepdown was 115 feet long lip to knuckle and 30 feet high from lip down to landing.

The hip was 100 feet long, and 50 feet high.

The stepup was 90 feet long and about 20 feet from lip up to landing.

The gap was 70 feet wall to wall plus 10 feet of flat on the landing.

The powder jump was about 150 feet to good transition.

woah..that stepdown is HUGE. no wonder people were getting hurt, theve never seen those things ever..holy crap

yea, seriously, that's fucking insane... you have to hit tha jumps at mach three to do tricks on those monsters...

if you can go that big its fun though, i personally would get bored hitting a 60 foot table the rest of my life i always have to push myself, but im in no means saying id ever try that it is insane but no one is forcing them to do it

Of course people should go bigger and bigger if they can. There are always gonna be injuries as long as people are pushing themselves. You don't want to see pros go big? Cause if they don't someone else will. I hate when people try and limit the sport, saying stuff like CR shouldn't have thrown the bio 12 at the open, just cause it was a 1260. It's just the natural progression of the sport, let it go.

it snowed 2-3 feet the first two days of superpark so the landing for the pow jump was good. the pow jump was right above the stepdown

it's ridiculous how big jumps are, If I would saw a jump that big, I would hit it anyway, but it's close to insanity...

yeah those are pretty big...the hip looks almost too big but id hit it, it looks nice anyways

It's almost TOO big as many others have said...I like to see progression but I don't want to see people kill themselves either.

all those pictures were from the West Coast Invitational the weekend after superpark. those pics are from the regular park, nowhere close to the size of superpark. Rumor has it that Scott Hibert was gonna stick his switch backflip today. They built a gap to rail for him in the Superpark (jumps are still built but Mack Dawg has been filmin it for the past few days and it hasnt been open to ski)

I don't really get what the powder jump is. is it just a huge jump with a soft landing?

it was a 140' gap, I think that they called it the powder jump because the landing was natural rather than being made by the cats.
