Judging by the NS snapchat those features look HUGE

Also, the knuckle on the step up by whoever that was (my phones died but i think it was rory silva mentioned) was brutal

hyped to see the footage come out from this
 
I hope that whoever undershot and hit the wall is okay. That was fucking nuts. That thing looks massive.
 
Anyone else think it's kind of ironic/funny that Karl hit the step up before any snowboarder, yet it's a snowboarding event? Haha
 
Silvas crash was intense. It should also be noted that step up was basically the only jump anyone hit today. Its probably the smallest real feature here.

We got a small crew in this year. Snowboarder is owned by the same company as us, and Pat Bridges was gracious enough to give a few spots to us to dish out.

We're on media blackout (except for snapchat) until after the event but the footage is going to be intense.

We brought Wallisch, McChesney, Berman, Karl, Vinny Gagnier, Dylan Sondrup, Colby Stevenson and then Jossi/Silva were invited by the snowboard guys.

I normally love watching as many as possible but today was little much, just bc it was the same shot over and over again and it was hard to see. Generally i love it tho

More, but i reckon it would also be cool for snapchat takeovers by the riders. Just pass the phone around and let the riders do whatever the fuck they want with it

Ok so less action more story?

The idea here was to focus on the action because it was banger. We have also previously had complaints that we did too much stupid shit making the story long.

More balanced approach is what I'm hearing. Action as well as behind the scenes?

Sorry, I might have gotten in a bit of a rut drinking beer at the side of the jump and blasting action.
 
Silly skiers speedchecking too much :)

Also good to see some skiers at this event sometimes as well as boarders at the skier comps.

I really like the action! Only thing is that snapchat quality is low, and with the skiers blending in with the background some times it is pretty frustrating, getting hyped up when riders are dropping in, and then not being able to see the trick.

Balanced approach is cool though, especially some short interviews and stuff.

One of the main things is that realistically, snapchat is only a quick view into what is happening. You need to check out our high quality coverage on the site, as well as buy the Good Company movie in the fall to see the good shit.

It's been sweet, switching between super unknown and super park has been sweet. Some would say almost very professional.

I think maybe be a bit more selective with clips, or whatever. The ski shop I'm at is dead so if I can sit on snapchat and watching skiing for 30 mins I'm stoked

Being selective with the clips is key. We had a slow day today with weather but tomorrow should pop off.

I love the snapchat stories, it's great to get a look into the event. I think you guys should keep posting a ton of stuff up, but being selective is important. This is pretty picky, but sometimes if someone is going massive it'd be nice to see the landing to see if they made it or what. But overall keep up with this and switching over to SuperUnknown is also sick

That is the one which is next to impossible. Many features require multiple camera angles for landings, or to be able to zoom more than snap can. Being on the deck works but it can be hard to see takeoffs and you really get in the way of other filmers shooting / get into the shots.

So Snap will only ever be so well produced. If you want a quick view into what is going on, boom this does the trick. if you want to watch the A-level action, then that is what the highly produced updates which come out afterwards are for. There will be awesome shit in the new Good Company movie too - so definitely pick that up when it drops!

Are they actually making like a full length movie or just more shorter films

Yeah totally understand this, and what you guys have done so far is by far the best that you can get through Snapchat. Will there be a full recap put up on NS or somewhere else at the end of the event? Or just the Good Company film?

We will be releasing clips soon and the best shots will be in the GC film.
