All those videos were terrible. A bunch of safety grabs. I didn't see one Lu Kang in there. Picking your leg up and grabbing your boot isn't correct. This is bullshit.
 
i also felt that proper technique was not demonstrated very well. i have always felt that if the ski is not grabbed before the leg extension that the kang is not really being used to its fullest or shown in its true glory.
 
then go back to watching dumont's qp record or whatever's the big thing in skiing right now..

and michael..maybe you should've put in the time to make an edit showing the true liu kang!
 
I was gonna say something about it but I didn't make a video so I thought I shouldn't really talk. Although I thought one of the videos had some pretty good kangs in it.

i saw him at A basin yesterday, he was doing grinds with his edges on a raill.

it was so sickkk!!!!! and none of you could ever make sparks on rails like he can.

well i don't think you understand liu kangs, michael, let me try to lay it out for you...

liu kangs are an art, much like playing the saxophone . anyone can learn with enough practice, but some people like to just play it real fast, to impress people. and there it loses its artistic integrity. now the real art comes from someone who can flow on the trumpet, rather than just blowing and pushing down them buttons and shit. now a real artist at the saxophone was bill clinton, you may remember him from such things as getting dome and getting in trouble for it, and also wearing sunglasses while playing the saxophone, just being real cool. now he is like mike nick, he plays the saxophone beautifully rather than just mashing...much like mike nick does really awesome looking liu kangs.

so in conclusion, being good at liu kangs is nothing like playing the saxophone, except bitches will give you dome for it....and it's art?

I enjoy all forms of kangs. Whether it be the rapid fire kangs or just the normal liu kang. This contest was probably the best thing to ever happen to this sport.
 
I have a question for you jeff.....

do you do this as a joke or are you serious??????? I'm just trying to put myself in your shoes so I can see it from both sides. I really don't give a fuck but I am going to act like I do right now, then still go with my own opinion.

i didnt actually think superkangknown was a real comp. if it was i would have totally entered because i spent a whole weekend seeing how many kangs i could put into anything.
