You should put this thread in ski gabber. The only reason I found this thread was because I saw the movie last night and wanted to know what other people thought.
In my opinion, the movie seemed to be an awkward blend between an "ET"-esque film and a sci-fi thriller/horror movie. There were elements that made me think that the movie was oriented around the younger crowd, but elements that confused me such as the PG-13 rating itself and multiple scenes that were fairly gory.
The movie's seemingly indecisive stance on it's target audience as well as the abrupt and awkward ending left me confused and wanting more.
Bu then again, I was really high when I saw it so I might be reading into this too much.
