Super 8 film...

i really doubt that anyone on here who posts regularly uses film. I think most of the people here use dv cameras... you might have better luck searching for some film related forums

actualy a few of us do have super 8's. i got one this summer but i am broke so i havent used it yet. soon i will start using it.

You will have a film burn with super 8 but it won't be as nice as 16mm, if you want to experiment somethings open up the receptacle in wich the super 8 cartige is stored and let various amounts of light hit the film that exits the cartrige. Super8 can be real cool with its old dirty-grainy trashy look.

i was thinking about getting a super8 just for that purpose. i can't really afford real film, so i got a miniDV HD (JVC) this season. i love the manual focus, but really miss the film look. DV is a little too crisp for my tastes sometimes.

picture of my friend with our camera because i am a photo-whore:

super-8 is nice to learn "film" with because its cheap and wal-mart can develop it... hi8 is also kinda cool to mix with dv to get different effects... every thing has a use dont hate
