you have a big jump.

if it snows more than 3 cm, and theres a dusting that closes the jump, get the cat and GROOM it.

so many days the jumps are just closed due to 0-5 cm of snow. do something about it, you guys built the jump for a reason right?

Haha funny story.

"Oh dood, why cant they just do something instead of just sit there swearing and being dickweeds.

I dunnno?"

"Hey, park guy... are you guys gonna open the jumps or what? just have someone slip them and theyre good! oh and how come you put something up, then close it till 330 then open it, and close the park and session it yourselves?"

"dont hate on the park crew, we work our asses off!!"

"No you dont, youve been smoking trees all day up here and jerking eachother off. Im not hating on the park crew, the park rules... hey wait, arent you supposed to have a dedicated cat just for the park?"

"ya."

"where the fuck is it? everything is falling apart."

"whatever asshole... fuck off! "

"No you fuck off... go back to asstralia and fuck a wallaby! orrrrrrrrrr earn your measly paycheck and rake something. Oh.... or put up some of the boxes that have been sitting around rotting all winter. "

park guy sulks away and shouts something back but is too far away to hear.

who is in charge of these morons?

your a douche and have no idea how much dedication and work they put into the park, the cat drives at night aswell, if it was in there during the day you would have no park to ride, think about it, when it snows it's usually low visability or windy its for your own saftey, props to sunshine park crew

it closes because the park is on a flat part of the hill (one of many) so as soon as theres a breeze or .001cm of snow casing jumps becomes the new trick

funny that they dont rake that shit or anything doe

safety is a huge concern especailly withthat one dood who landed on hsi head and cracked his head open needing a heli evac

Speaking of Sunshine park, has anyone seen them open that jump at the very bottom of the first park where that wall ride used to be? That thing is gonna be huge.

fucking chill. I know when the cat drives you tool.

I also know when its windy you close down jumps, thanks for the tip.

But, when its pretty sunny and all the snow has just windblown into the drop in, take some time and clear off the run up to the jump.

Even if its raking, or im SURE it wouldnt take more than 15 minutes for the cat to do one run up to the jump and groom the snow away.

"if it was in there during the day you would have no park to ride".

im sure no one would care if the cat went in at 9 in the morning to groom 2 lines.

thanks for coming out. I learned alot from you today.

Ya I was there last weekend, it snowed an inch and the jumps never got raked or sliped or anything so they were never opened. Hard to believe they would pour so much damn money into the park then not spen 45 minutes in the morning to get all the features open.

Rails were set up nice at least

Oh and it would be nice if the park wasn't placed on the most retartedly flat section of hill ever. If the pitch of the park is more that 10 degrees maybee they could build a jump that bigger than 40 feet and not even have to make a giant pile of snow that you have to sit on your ass the whole way down just so you can make the landing

^^^^^I was there too last weekend man.It didn't snow an inch, it snowed 10 cms and the park guys were out there all morning raking all the rails and boxes. And all the features were open except for the big tables and one of the biggish tables. When there is snow like that in the park, its not gonna be a good park day no matter what, they cant do anything about that snow until they get a cat in there, and they wont do that until the hill closes.

But yes, that run is terrible for a terrain park, but i honestly cant think of a better place on the mountain on it. There isn't really any runs that are undulating, and most of the runs that aren't really narrow and treed are too steep to be good for a terrain park. I don't find that run is really bad until im hitting that big table on skiers far left.

does wawa get enough snow to make a park with big jumps though? i mean they have that whole flat aread to push snow into the park which is one of the main reaons they put it there. I guess wawa has that pond for snowmaking though

I think wawa would have enough snow, theres hills with shit snow that have decent parks, I just think the line would be HUGE if they put the park on wawa they need it somewhere thats a high speed quad.

if I owned sunshine I'd put the park smack dab in the middle of that freefall run on goats eye. Then maybe some of you park rats could learn to ski.

the park used to be on wawanesa when the tbar was there.

it was a shitty site. where they have it now is perfect, they can expand on all sides and its not steep as shit.
