Location: Village Area - Sunshine Tent - Outside of Trappers near Slush Cup Pool Area

The event will start around 1:00pm and

awards will follow the event.

as amusing as doing the slush cup would be, strep throat and a cold decided to kick me in the face so I'm probably not doing it :(

HEAVY SNOWFALL EXPECTED TONIGHT INTO FRIDAY MORNING.

THE CENTRE OF THE COLD UPPER LOW IS CURRENTLY OVER THE CITY OF CALGARY, OKOTOKS AND STRATHMORE REGIONS. IN THE CLEAR SKIES ASSOCIATED WITH THE CENTRE OF THE LOW ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS HAVE FORMED DUE TO DAYTIME HEATING AND COLD UNSTABLE AIR ALOFT. BRIEF HEAVY SNOW OR RAIN SHOWERS CAN OCCUR WITH THESE ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS WITH A SLIGHT RISK OF PEA-SIZE HAIL OCCURRING. HOWEVER AS THE UPPER LOW STARTS TRACKING SOUTHEASTWARDS THIS EVENING, A BAND OF HEAVY SNOW WILL MOVE INTO THE CITY OF CALGARY AND THE OKOTOKS REGION. THE SNOW WILL PERSIST INTO FRIDAY MORNING WITH SNOWFALL AMOUNTS EXPECTED TO BE IN THE 10 TO 25 CENTIMETRES RANGE. THE BANFF AND KANANASKIS REGIONS AND WESTERN SECTIONS OF THE AIRDRIE REGIONS CAN STILL EXPECT FURTHER AMOUNTS OF 10 TO 25 CENTIMETRES BY FRIDAY MORNING WHILE SNOWFALL AMOUNTS WILL GRADUALLY TAPER OFF IN THE JASPER, NORDEGG AND ROCKY MOUNTAIN HOUSE REGION BY LATE THIS EVENING.

 
Well this is only my 2nd week at my new job so I don't think it would go over very well if I skipped

dude it rained for like half the day...was jinda shity, the park was pretty blown out 2

but some people deff throwed down in the cup

a fuckin snowboarder dressed as a sunflower did a 180 butter across but stopped a foot short

and 2 guys did 180s in, 1 guy 3d, and another switch backied

besides that not to intresting...one guy went across so fast he took out like 5 people on the other end...that was pretty dope
 
eh, at least i didn't miss out on too much. I went on sunday and it only drizzled a bit, pretty damn slushy but still alright.

did you see a guy in a lepoard speedo doing the slush cup by any chance?
 
No, didn't see that.

However, I did see Robin (from Batman and Robin) crank himself in the back of the head with his OWN SNOWBOARD and almost drown in front of "qualified" attending staff though.

Dope.

The rain didn't ruin the atmosphere.

Still fun.
