anybody here ski sundown. i know this kid greg carpenter and he's gonna hook me up with a lift ticked this winter so i mine as well try it out...is it any good?

 
I used to ski there all the time for ski club... Thers like 5 main trails n like cutovers off of them... but they had a terrain park last year so that was good but the mountains lame otherwise

hey fluff, speaking of sundown, whens that shit opening, and is there gonna be park shit up xmas break? get on it bitch...

 
First off, its got 4 main trails. Theres Toms treat, canyon run, gunbarrel, and some other one. The rest of the trails just branch off of those and they all meet up into one large one called exhibition at the bottom. It takes 30 seconds to do a whole run. My bro (headski1) and i went there with our school every winter for 6 years. Unless they have a park in the plans, its only good if you want to learn something else, or you just want to jib the hwole day. Theres no tree skiing or anything else either, and all the lifts are old triples that are slow.

Skiing is all im good at. :-(
 
well Ski1215... there is gonna be a park this year. fluff is really hookin us up with some nice shit. and im not saying sundown is the shit by anymeans, but if you can find a place in CT any better id like to hear about it. and alot has changed in just the past season so its nothing like it was 6 years ago

 
whatever Ski, you obviously havent seen sundown in the past year, check out the website and the video clips and see what fluff has done to the place. The best damn thing anyone has done to CT, period. Yeah, CT is lame in alot of ways, but if it wasnt for sundown then where would we go when you don't wanna go to VT. Not powder ridge thats for sure, boycott that place!
